Bat Family Dinner (Thomas, Damian, Dinah, Janie, Marcus)
Bruce threw a curve ball, he was quite fond of them, and decided to set up a Bat Family dinner. He did this once in awhile and Maria dreaded them like a root canal. Even though she never had a root canal. Most of the time they were normal dinners, but there had been a few that would always be remembered in the annals of the Bat Family history.

Just to torment the Squirt, Maria told Damian that dinner was in costume. Of course it wasn't, but she wanted to see if he'd fall for it.

Maria hummed happily as she made her way to the dining room.

Thomas always felt really awkward at family dinners, even at holidays, so this was even more awkward. Dinners with just Maria and AltDad weren't bad, they'd made him feel welcome and sometimes forget this wasn't his home technically, but seeing the rest of them, some he didn't know, made the not-his-world thing all the more salient.

Well...he survived a lot of worse things than awkward family dinners, he could do this too.

Thomas was ahead of Maria, having come from a different part of the Manor, and walking into the dining room with Mr. Paws at his heels.

Dinah definitely needed to spend more time hanging out with the others in the Bat-family. She got on like a house afire with Thomas, of course, and Maria was a childhood friend, but as she'd gotten more involved with being a super-hero herself, and with the Titans, she'd drifted way a little from the Gotham set. Not intentional, just life.

But tonight, she was here on the doorstep, ready to hang with the rest of the crew. And meet the newest interdimensional bat-brat.

	Marcus was honestly surprised to get this invite. He wasn't really sure if he should even really should go. Family history and all of that. But then he figured what the hell could be fun to annoy some people. Plus it would be neat to meet some people he had grown up hearing about. So he showed up at the front door for dinner. Being the youngest here (though she guessed that Damian was her age), was a bit odd and she didn't hang out with the other bat kids all that much given both the age difference and living in another city. But family was family and she liked Grandpa Bruce and everyone was always rather nice so she didn't mind Daddy dropping her off here.

She came to the door right after Dinah and Marcus, just in time to see Maria open the door. "Hi." Slightly intimidated? Just a bit.
