Open House
The Justice League was having an open house for all their current, former and reservist heroes and their friends and families. It was a nice way to show what their member did on a regular basis and build up camaraderie and to give heroes who were members of the justice league something to strive for in the future. This was especially useful with the older generation of heroes starting to retire and the younger generation stepping up to take their place.

Clara was busy trying to stay back from Mr. Jordan when she saw.

Brainwashed Flash. An honest-to-goodness Flash, which was especially serious business, heroing-wise,to a good Keystone girl.

And he was coming at them, probably. There literally wasn't time to think. And she couldn't make anything Big, not without getting too close to Mr. Jordan.

So, some little distraction to keep somebody from getting hurt. With a split-second little prayer, she set up thin blue wires from the left wall to the big fancy League furniture over on her right.

Jerry starts snapping his fingers to start teleporting things from around the room in front of Bart trying to trip him up or at the very least distract him.

The Flash does start coming at them, but Jerry's teleporting of the furniture has him superspeed zigzagging through the obstacles, not seemingly deterred by them. But he skids to a stop slightly to the side, not yet at Clara's wires, and begins spinning his arms at superspeed, creating currents that pick up speed and quickly become contained hurricanes that pick up the stuff Jerry has teleported to hinder him, and blows them into Clara's wires and at the two kids.

Clara winces and clinged to something. The little wires mostly held against -- or sliced into-- the things thrown at them. Blue alone couldn't do big, but her hope wasn't fragile. But splinters in the wind were scary, and Clara didn't have a lot else to do without getting too close to Mr. Jordan. So she fell back on one of her strong suits: Helpful Information. "Mr. Flash, Sir. Please concentrate." And she'll start running through everything they covered in the Mind Control Resistence crash course on Odym, trying to reach out with the Blue to help.

Jerry snaps his fingers and teleports himself to a new spot getting away from the storm of thing. He keeps an eye on Clara in case she need a quick extraction. He then starts trying to teleport more things over Bart.

An experienced Blue Lantern would have an issue, but still be able to do more, here. So Clara's Mind Control Resistance work didn't seem to do all that much. Though it did manage to have the Flash pause and slow down for the briefest moment. But when dealing with speedsters, that was often all you could ask for. As a result of Clara's efforts it does give a slight opening for Jerry's teleporting objects to fall onto the man, one hitting his shoulder before it snaps Bart out of it and he dodges the rest at last minute.

Starro-d Bart determines that the snapping boy is the bigger problem, one last round of mini hurricanes to send things at the girl again, before zooming over to the boy, super speed punches at ready.

Noticing the change in Bart's focus as he starts charging him Jerry gives a yell and tries to teleport himself away with a snap of his fingers.

Yep a speedster charging at you was definitely not a good thing.

Clara just holds on tight and tries not to feel as useless as she is, because that's Not Helpful.

Jerry gets away in time, and the combined efforts of the kids, with the Blue Lantern powers causing the speedster to pause, stop or slow down for brief moments here and there, and Jerry's teleporting objects on top of the Flash, eventually manage to wear the speedster down enough that the next attempt Mind Control Resistance attempt finally makes a slightly battered Flash stop long enough to give the kids a significant opening.

"Try and keep him still," Jerry says, "I'm going to try and teleport that starfish off of him."
