Daily Routine (Janie)
So, it kinda became the usual thing for Clark and Janie to fly together. They had this meeting spot right on the border of New York that was a perfect starting place for the traditional 300 kilometer race. Then it was just leisurely flying and talking. Clark brought his backpack, which had some food his mom made. He'd told her about Janie and that she was cool, so his mom always baked something for them to eat. Hey, it was after school hours and Clark was always done with his homework early; why not let the boy hang out with a super-powered girl in the sky?

	Pfft. Bats still had bedtimes. "Heck yeah I got a costume! I'm wearing it now!" He unbuttoned his shirt to show part of his costume that was underneath it. "Totally awesome, right?" He ignored the mask thing. Everybody knew the Super's used glasses just fine. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	None they followed or would admit to. Janie tilted her head and rested her hand against her chin in an exaggerated 'hmmmm' gesture. "Pretty awesome. Buuuut...no mask. Negative points for that. 	"You're just jealous you can't get your hands on a cool one," she teases back. "Man, that's it? We should totally find a way to make those practical somehow. So everyone would think they're decorative and then you surprise them by showing that-a ha!- they're not." At the very least they'd be good for snacks she thought, goldfish crackers or something. "Nah, you don't need that," she said. She had bracelets of her own, still relatively new, that she was learning to use. Daddy still wouldn't let her try deflecting bullets yet. "Superboy doesn't need deflecting things, wouldn't fit."

"We can just make them secret pockets for snacks at least. Or sweets, or whatever really. Maybe a first aid thing. Oooh, good place to hide any papers or maps while you're flying since I don't see any pockets on you."

It was all about how you sold it.

"Well if you've got the map you have to worry about not losing it or crumpling it or ripping it while you do all that. The map person doesn't get to do as much action stuff," she shrugged. But the map person was the brains of the operation. She'd be the brains, he'd be the brawn. The adorably amusing brawn who was fun to tease, but still.
