Avalon gives Josh as oft little sweet smile, and goes to frame the other boy's face with his hands as he gently wipes away the tears. "I have to go back and face whatever my fate is for failing. I've all but lost Hope, Josh. When we part ways, it will be completely gone for me. Well.. not completely." he smiles through his tears, "You are my Hope now, Josh. And for however long I shall remain alive, I will hold that close."
He pauses, then draws them down to the grass, his reasoning apparent as he takes his ring off. "There is.. is more." he then struggles to say, his voice not all that different without the translator, but his English is halting and very accented.
