On Ukranian Membership (open to JLI)
Well, it was strange to be standing there. It was so very muggy there, a far cry from Kiev even in the summer. The heat was oppressive, especially with Oksanas thick uniform (her military uniform, *not* her hero uniform) as she walked into the large building known as the Hall of justice. She knew that she had been accepted, but nothing much beyond that. So she had a bag (which had two spares of her actual costume) and an older uniform of her military days, complete with her standard red beret denoting her Ukranian special forces.

Once she is within the building and passes the necessary security precautions, she's taken...somewhere. She has no idea of the layout of the building.

"Hello?" Oksana called out into the building. This was where she was to meet her perspective teammates, yes?

	"And you must be...Jack O' Lantern, yes?" The smile is also cordial, and the hand that was just shaking Barbies hand was now moving to shake the Irishman. "My name is Oksana Molotova-Rasputin. 	Oksanas smile starts to go stale when Barbie moves from saying "hi" to describing a whistling bird and a unhealthy sounding person named Pippi. "It is interesting to hear that I am in the minority of non-Americans on the team. And to hear that...I'm curious as to just what I got into. As if the other redhead was bad enough." Still being a relative outsider himself, Xian stayed in the background, listening. A member of the former Soviet Bloc? His superiors back home would want to know this.

Well now, wasn't Oksana the center of attention. Something she wasn't entirely comfortable with.

"Yes, I am the 'new girl'. I am Oksana Molotova, for those of you who missed it. I go by Rasputin," oksana says quickly, nodding to those who were just arriving on the scene (while giving a odd look to the one stuffing his mouth)

Okay, so the big one with the mouthful of food and the chinese guy have been the only ones to not say just who they are. She could guess, but she wants confirmation from them.

"Nice to meet you, as well. You two gentlemen, what are your code names?"

Dex activated his ring and his clothes transformed into his Green Lantern uniform and a mask appeared on his face. He wasn't one for words.

Pippi wanders into the room, whistling Disney tunes. The commotion quickly catches her attention - and after looking Oksana up and down, her bright expression quickly fades into something akin to very mild panic, and she rushes over.

"Oh no, no. This is terrible!"

As far as anyone can tell, Pippi seems to being going right in to seeing how many layers of clothing Pippi can get off of Oksana before she objects too strenuously.

"This is tragic. I heard they did horrible things to people in places with accents like that, but I never imagined. Its ok now, you're safe. We can put you in something that doesn't totally mangle your figure."
