Gotham U (Bendytimed to first week of classes) (OPEN)
Predictably, when Thomas had ended up applying to colleges earlier in the year, he'd ended up in the business major. Not even he was going to deny Bruce's influence on that. Not that he minded, it was flexible enough and gave him space to dabble in both computer science and art history as he pleased, the latter he'd probably make a minor later on though.

The whole thing felt kind of funny. New universe, new school, new job, and well, okay fine, he didn't have friends. Maybe that'd change. But at least the internship gig in WE's security design department was more flexible than his job at the zoo, even if he would miss feeding those tigers.

Walking along with the sub he'd bought for lunch, Thomas strolls around campus looking for somewhere to eat.

Thomas recognizes the boy from the art gallery (an encounter that had left him curious) sitting on the bench and walks up.

"It's been a while."

"Hi. Yeah." Ezra manages between stuffing his face cheerilly and drinking his milk.

Oh what the hell, not like he knew anyone else around here. Besides, the guy had been interesting conversation before.

"Mind if I join you?"

"Nope. So, what's your class schedule look like?"

"Not bad actually. No morning classes is always a plus," he smiles as he sits down and unwraps his sub. "You? Got a major?"

Ezra shook his head. "I don't want to decide. I'm just goign to take math and physics and computer engineering and philosophy of science until I make up my mind."

"Fair enough. By the time you need to decide you'll probably have enough credits that's it's not too much of stretch to finish. Which computer class? I've got a few on my plate." Mostly programming but it was good to have engineering ones in there too. Dismantling computers was always useful too.

"The one at 2? I've got that one too I'm pretty sure." While he fishes for his schedule he eyes Ezra's milk. "Is the milk thing one of those 'promoting growth' ideas?"

"Deal. Smart idea, I just ask because there's a guy I've met who chugs the stuff thinking it'll make him grow a lot taller. I'd hate to tell him most of his growing is done."

"Don't worry. I'm not delusional." He's not. No matter how much people worry. The radio's a problem, sure, but it's not like he's stupid. "But no need to be discouraging, calcium's still good."

"Part of the reason I don't tell him. It won't help his growth but it won't hurt him overall. Let the guy dream."
