The Producer, the casting call
With his recent conversation with Cindy Lord a few days past, the NDA's drawn up, and enough funding and paperwork together to begin the hiring process, Steven started making calls. He reserved the back room of a pizza place so they would have ample room for everyone, and privacy for the discussion. No one beyond Tess and Cindy have been told precisely what its for, just that its not an emergency of any sort, that they'll be receiving a business offer, and regardless how it goes, the food is on Steven... technically Cindy put up the money, but he's the host.

He's made, and called quite the list, along with making arrangements for transportation to New York for the non-residents. Thankfully, between the speedforce, JLA transporters, and people's powers, that's not hard to do. Each of the girls is handed an NDA as soon as they walk through the door. They're welcome to take or reject the proposal, of course - but the discussion itself has to stay under reasonable wraps. The entire menu - pizza, pasta, salads, sodas and breadsticks are made readily available to everyone for their attendance.

Steven himself has already gone through a couple of pizzas while waiting, and now has gone back to kind of pacing, waiting to greet the guests. His materials are all ready for presentation, once people arrive and sign the NDAs.

The guest list covers some of the most impressive women on the planet... together for... a pizza party.

Tess Holt, Cat Grant, Corrinna of Themysciria, Caitria Curry, Petra Gardener, Avia Free, Maria Grayson, Jess Byrd, Iris West, Ash Curry, Barbie Queen and Alina Vasquez.

Petra grins from ear to ear. "I'm all over this like Salad-head on his girl. Just name the time and pl--"

She pauses, her expression thoughtful. "Still with this, but I'm going to need some accommodation. Me and too much heat, like studio lighting, don't mix." She looks at Cindy in particular. "Outside of that, are you already set for seed money? Daddy would be all over having Warriors sponsor this."

	Avia gave this some thoughtful consideration. She liked the ideas involved, definitely, especially the charity aspects. And hell, she'd done worse. "I like the idea here, a lot. I'm tentatively in... so long as we work out some licensing things. My appearance is a trademark of Miracle Entertainment, Inc." Certainly not greed, just legalistics. "We'll be happy to work with your licensing company, no problem. That falls directly under Cindy's responsibilities.

Petra - no problem on the environment. We'll work something out - and probably use a winter month, obviously. As for Warriors - we're trying to be careful with investments, since this may flop... but I'm sure Cindy and Tess would be happy to discuss possible arrangements - and we definitely need shooting locations."

He does his best to make note of the months, figuring Tess and her photographic memory are also picking all this up - probably better than he is.

"No conflicts so far... and... yeah, getting the gear pretty much anywhere shouldn't be a problem. As for the books - your heroic alter egos will be on the books as the models... but since there's a lot of filming to be done, and we're operating in people's home towns, anyone who wants a part-time job or something to explain the bit of income can also be noted as a location scout, film crew, make-up - whatever you want to contribute while we're in your stomping grounds - or just how you want to show up in the credits. For that matter, if people do have any skill with wardrobes, make-up, lighting, secondary photography... and you're willing to travel a bit, I can always genuinely use a hand - not a ton of money to throw around, but we've figured out what all we need, and I'd rather give my friends jobs than hire out."

"And you know I appreciate it. If you're looking for a long term gig, cousin - this is SpeedForce productions. If things work out, I'm going to need at least one other speedster to do the high speed fight scenes and stuff with - and someone else with super speed can do the work of a lot of people." And he's all for trying to help family. "It'd initially be the modeling work, but might turn into at least a part time job, if an income would help... if this first project gets off the ground. Oh, that, and you can help by not telling my mom too soon that I'm taking pictures of girls in bikinis... or that you're going to be one of them."

Alina chuckles at how Steve plans to explain the enterprise to his parents -- her's are just happy if she's not doing things that could get her kidnapped, killed, addicted, or pregnant.

"Remind me to ask you for help the next time I need to spin an explanation for my parents," she teases. "And I'm not half-bad with costuming, if you need help in the wardrobe department, but you should probably keep me away from the electronics."
