Getting Some Air (Open to Gothamites)
He told Ezra that he was going outside for some air. In Durlin-talk that meant standing on a rooftop overlooking the city. He was in his standard gear, mask on his face. No reason to get cocky in this city. While he wasn't as behind this hero-thing as Ezra was, they were actually accomplishing stuff. Surprisingly enough they weren't being constantly harassed by the Bat-Family. Which could mean they either didn't believe the Durlins were much of a problem or were planning something quick and definitive in response. ..sometimes it sucked being paranoid all the time. He might as well actually take the time to enjoy the night-air.

	Robin hops off his ledge and walks over to the edge of the roof, looking down. "Most people go for a walk, masks not included." He stays quiet for a minute, watching what looks to be a drug deal below. "So I guess this doesn't concern you," he shrugs, fully aware they're in what's usually the twins' area. 	"I am. I don't control who shows up in the area." The dealer in question was a low-level functionary of a bigger group. There were a dozen just like him and easily replaceable by the bigshots. 	Okay, the last thing he wanted to do was another "team-up" with one of the Bat's operatives, but he clearly wasn't going to go away. He half considered telling him to get lost, but then he'd be little better than the man he resented. He sighed before following along. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

He sighs to himself, he could tell this guy wanted him gone. But he was on patrol and that meant dealing with these things, and people who claimed to be off-duty could be off-duty if they wanted, but he had a crime to deal with. Although teaming up with someone who clearly had a chip in his shoulder over all things bat wasn't at the top of his list of things to be doing tonight.

Robin follows their target, quietly leaping between rooftops and sticking to the shadows.

	Evan quickly showed that while he didn't care for the situation, he wasn't going to be anything but professional. He moved along quickly. He wasn't the acrobat Ezra was, but he could leap rooftops easily enough. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Thomas is quietly thankful for the professionalism, any problems could be dealt with after tailing this guy. They follow the drug dealer for a few blocks until he stops and enters a door that clearly led to a basement.

Robin finds a spot to wait and briefly explains, "Pay day. Owes his cut to someone bigger." Most other days there was no point in trailing such small fry, but at least today it'd give him an idea of where to start looking to catch the bigger ones.

There was no need to hold back information. "My brother thinks it's international in origin. The guys here are just local hirelings. But smart, get down a sec." Evan hands over a pair of binoculars. "Take a look over at the building a few blocks down. They got a guy with surveillance equipment in the window. He's been there for days. We looked into it, he's not a cop, but a guy paid to look for capes on the rooftops. I think he's actually got a mini-telescope."

He doesn't point out that he has his own binoculars and is sticking to the shadows because he expects there is surveillance, instead he quietly accepts the binoculars and listens closely as he looks at the guy a few blocks away.

"Off shoot of a Colombian group that's come into power recently. Like you said, they take their precautions. But we've been working on getting more on the ones in charge here," he explains. Well if he was getting information it was fine to give a little, especially since the group involved dealt quite a bit in the brothers' territory. It was better they knew a bit about what they were up against. "I'll send you a file once one of my leads is checked out."

Evan was surprised at the bone he was just thrown, but he was careful not to show it. Thank God for faceless masks. "Thanks, my brother will appreciate the additonal intel." Suddenly another car pulls up, and a couple of Asian men get out of the car. "Mikey 'Double M' Minh, bigshot in a Vietnamese gang that's been making waves in the neighborhood. The other guy's Tommy Do, standard enforcer-type."
