JSA vs. Monster Society
It was time for an impact visit. This time in the Bronx. It was going well, Tess thought. Crime as a whole had been going down in the wake of these visits.

What she didn't know is that at that same moment, one of the more strong-willed employees at STAR Labs' New York location was tripping the silent alarm.

"Now you see me..." Steven blurs into motion. He doesn't want to begin to admit how close that was. This guy is fast, and there's only so much he could do to him, for long, anyway. But he has a plan. It just requires getting Ibac really, really mad.

Fun.

"...Now you don't." he adds from a few feet behind Ibac, making him cut off the charge, while Steven focuses utterly on defense - no room for any mistakes.

"So when is the ass-handing going to begin? I'm getting bored."

He can't let him know how much of a surprise that was. Managing to react, and hide the look of surprise or any noise quicker than most would follow, and focusing solely on defense, Steven phases through the flying rock, running across some of the larger chunks like stepping stones across a river until he finds something more solid again.

"We can wait for one of your friends if you like? Then maybe this will be interesting. I mean, those girls there... they look kind of dangerous. Go ahead and give them a call if you need, I can wait."

	There is no quip in return, just a snarl. He is empowered with all the stengths of Hell itself! This little runt was going to be torn to pieces! Ibac begins to call upon his abilities more, using the increased speed to swing again and again at the Flash. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Steven can't help but wonder if he could do without a head, the way losing his heart was a huge inconvenience, and hurt a lot... but kind of worked out. Cause if any of those punches connect, he muses, he may find out.

He ducks back, again and again, sometimes by the merest milimeter, shifting about, trying to figure out the ideal position to execute his plan, now that he has the guy growling, pushing his speed hard to stay just ahead of the guy.

"Really, I don't mind taking a break so you can call one of the girls over for help. That has to be your usual M.O., because this is just sad." he quips, before darting off to put about thirty feet between himself and Ibac, in just the right spot.

He adds, quietly, over com to Fate, "Work on your spell, quietly... give me twenty more seconds... I need this guy."

"Thanks, creepy-porn-stache Guy, I was really lost on the giant robot thing." Steven adds, as he phases. The second the guy begins to go through him, he lends him some speed - lots and lots of speed, sending him from fast as hell to 'border of the speedforce' type fast.

Ibac should end up going right through the not-quite-as-fast rock, and directly at the giant robot, if Steven has done his positioning right.

"At your leisure, Doc." As in, any time after the earth-shattering-Ka-Boom... because Steven /really/ does not want to fight whichever of Ibac or the giant robot gets up from the meteoric collision.

	Ibac goes flying, the increase in speed sending him flying into the large robot, and before he could make heads or tales of what just happened he feels the magic of the Demons pulling away from him. That seems to have slowed them down some, and he's sure Fate, given time, can do more to take this guy down. He just needs to buy that time, since the guy seems fixated on him.

"Awww, imagine that. Big, tough porn-stache guy starts out all tough... and so far, has just managed to hit your own tinker toy. Most villains at least manage to not be a liability for their own side."
