JSA vs. Monster Society
It was time for an impact visit. This time in the Bronx. It was going well, Tess thought. Crime as a whole had been going down in the wake of these visits.


What she didn't know is that at that same moment, one of the more strong-willed employees at STAR Labs' New York location was tripping the silent alarm.

Serendipity was waiting for Iris as she came, quick to react, and hoping her luck would hold.

The speed of Saranyu isn't quite Flash-type, but it's not bad at all, and Serendipity braced herself to meet the attack and grab a hold of Iris.

Iris sped in and ducked low hoping to take the woman's legs out from under her.

Serendipity took to the air enough to flip over her, a little off balance, but still fairly alert.

Iris pulled up short. "Woah. Nice move." Iris had to definitely rethink this. She took a quick look around to see what was around that she could use. There was a hardware store just down the block and Iris took off toward it.

She was in and out in less than a second and back to the woman with a roll of duct tape in her hand. Now to wrap her up in it.

And Serendipity is wrapped, unable to move before Iris...until the first layer snaps from her strength.

Dammit. That wasn't going to work. Iris needed to find a better solution.

"A little help here!" she called over comms to her fellow JSAers.
