Sisters @ 10:14 am

[info]seasiren:

She never really thought about how much she had always needed an older sister. She had always loved her older brother. She had enjoyed having him around. Now in this other universe she had come to realize how much she missed out on by not having a sister.

She made a vow that once she was a grown up and once she was ready for a family to have more than one child. It only made sense anyways for a purely logical standpoint and she did kind of like children anyways.

Now though she had to find Cait. Talk to her. So she asked around, fish could sometimes be helpful. This one seal though kept driving her nuts though because it sounded so much like a pirate from a bad surface dweller movie.

Of course this had her stop and face-palm. Of course she knew how to find Cait. She's a mage for crying out loud. But there was also a much easier route. Mera would know something. So after going to Mera and asking she had an idea of where to go.

So after feeling very silly she went to where Cait would be. She found the little town so strange. But she liked it. And she hoped Cait wouldn't mind her showing up unannounced. She just wanted to talk and she hoped that she could talk to Cait without getting nervous. Stammering when she wanted to bond would not be cool.

Double Date. @ 08:34 pm

Finally, it was going to happen. The restaurant she'd booked came with countless high recommendations -- although a few complaints about the price tag that Cindy could happily ignore. It was a half bar, half 'soul food' establishment. And that included a great deal of cooking with bacon. And tonight was Karaoke night.

This was going to be fun.

She arrived at the browstone to pick up her girlfriend and their co-daters.

Thursday Doesn't Even Start. @ 11:38 pm

No work today. Zoe was busy, and no one worth hitting was out in the Triangle.

After a while of staring in the mirror and seeing Joey written across it, he knew he had to get out somewhere. And not to the Outsiders. Not unless he wanted to end up pleading about how he could make such a hot chick and not be of interest once he turned out to be a boy -- they were the same lips and same legs either way. And that would be humiliating for all parties.

So he'd made a day trip, to Coast City. Uncle Jed had done a little work there once. Said it was an interesting place to visit.
