((Set after "Child's Play"))
Dinadan heaves a sigh of relief, throwing his pencil down on his desktop and stretching his hands over his head. Usually, he would have put his homework off until Sunday, but between his recovery and the whole...thing with Granny Sunshine, he and Petra had agreed that it was time to check out that Bed & Breakfast and pastry class she'd mentioned back when he'd gotten back to Ivy Town. It had taken a bit of parental wrangling (on his part) and a bit of "oh geez, when can we do the pastry class and get the room", but they'd managed it. And then the last thing standing (well, lying really) in their way was Dinadan's homework load.
Which was now finished. Ha.
As he starts packing his homework away, he notices that Petra's name is marked as "online" on his instant messenger, and he clicks open a window to send her a quick message.
SonoftheAtom: hey, done with my homework, almost ready to bone
Augh, finger-fumble, he hates it when he accidentally hits--
Oh holy gods, how did he just make that typo?!
SonoftheAtom: come!
No no no, that doesn't make it any better!
SonoftheAtom: come over! Almost ready to come over!
Although now plans maybe delayed due to current overwhelming need to fling his traitorous keyboard across the room.
