Current Location: Titains kitchen
Current Mood: chipper
Current Music: Star Wars: THE OPERA

Shh... Eli's walking down the hallways of the Titian's headquarters, with a bag of groceries in his arms. Barefoot, he barely makes a sound as he pads down to the kitchen.  No one noticed the lack of shoes in the store, they were too busy looking at the wings. An excellent distraction.

Inside the kitchen he starts to unload the bag: flour, sugar, baking powder, butter, eggs, brown sugar... all the things needed to make cookies. As he rattles around in the kitchen looking for things, he starts to sing - rather well - what sounds like Star Wars the Opera.

After a lunch with J'anna and a promise that she would keep her updated on what was going on with her, Alura had set off for Metropolis.  It was... smaller than it had been would be in her time, but it was still in some way recognizable as the same City of Tomorrow it had always been.  It was also home to a portion of her family, such as it was, on Earth.

She hoped dearly to avoid her mother.  Though Kara Zor-El had spent enough time in the future to have had a hand in raising her daughter, a battle with the Time Trapper had returned her to the past, physically and mentally the same as when she had first been trapped in the 31st century.  She would have no memory or even any sign that she had ever left this time period.  Alura could no bear to face her.

She hovered above the city, briefly scanning it with her various forms of super-vision, while she tried to decide how best to get along of Kal-El or another family member.

Alina stands back to inspect her reflection in her (almost) full-length mirror. It had taken her a long time to find all of the proper materials for her costume, but she thinks she finally has it right. Black hat a blue band, black halter top, black shorts, a blue jacket that was light enough that she wouldn't suffocate in El Paso's heat, a sturdy pair of combat boots, and black-and-sparkly-blue fishnets. The fishnets in particular had been a major pain, she'd eventually had to just sit down and use magic to modify them, and that had ruined a few pairs until she'd gotten over the "error" phase of trial and error.

But now, everything's fixed up as good as she's going to get it. And the little imperfections ought to be covered by the same spell she uses to keep her identity secret. She's had a lot of practice holding that one so there's no real risk of losing that in a fight. Well, okay, she’s added a little something to it, but only because a mask would mean that her face didn’t look all blurry in any photos.

“Kaotik,” she says, straightening her shoulders and looking her reflection in the eye. A black and blue butterfly mask blossoms over her face, and her carpet changes color to match. Well that’s not too bad. Certainly could have been worse. Teleporting is going to be the one that might ruin all of this…

A few minutes later, a girl appeared at the door to the Young Justice League headquarters in an expanding cloud of iridescent insects.

“YEAGH!”

…Yeah. Not the first impression she wants to make. Is it too much to hope that no one inside heard that?
