The Risks of the Job @ 06:41 pm

[info]jdoesmith:

High speed chases and shoot outs sometimes were part of the job. So were dodging knives and flesh hitting flesh in a fight for her life. She had gotten so used to how rough things could get that she forgot what it was like to have an easy day on the job.

Today was not that day. Middle aged man married with kids disappeared from work one day. No lovers. No deep dark secrets. He was just gone like the wind. Except there was an unusual lack of evidence.

It drags on )

Eli At Henry's House after the Halloween Party @ 06:45 pm

Current Mood: gloomy

Eli managed to find cigarettes from somewhere. He perched up in a tree smoking and staring up at the sky. It looked rather different. No patrol droids. He wondered if he could fill in the holes to his comic book collection. Maybe even get original DVDs of some of his favorite shows. Hell see some of his favorite shows on the television itself.

He tried not to think about going home. He didn't think he would be. They probably couldn't get him home, back to the future. That was a fun movie. He wanted a Delorian for a while. Until he found out that they really couldn't fly. Of course driving was a problem for him, with his wings and all.

For now, however, he pondered how he was going to survive. What he was going to do. And if he could even stop the invasion so far back.

Also, how was he going to get some pot.

Being Normal (open) @ 09:40 pm

[info]young_swimmer:

Life was settling down and Cait had gotten into a daily routine. She was up with the sun each morning and the first thing she did was go for a swim. Early mornings were the best time for swimming and the time of the day the ocean life was most chatty.

Cait always lost track of the time and always ended up hurrying into work.

After work she returned to Titans Tower and spent some time with Ty. Then it was time for another swim and then bed.

It was so normal. Cait loved it.

Today was a day off of work and she was in her room stretched out on the bed reading a book.
