Jay meant to follow the plan, split them up - but there's a sudden impulse, he can't help it - he needs to rush in, stop waiting, move. The Hawk instincts take over, but thankfully, so do the reflexes. He leaps over the violet beam and rushes at Mitzi.
"Hey, hey, there's enough of me for all of you, bring it on."
