Avalon's eyes turn towards the seconds story of the house. And the sounds. He then looks back to Josh, making eye contact with the other boy as he says softly "It's okay Josh.. I'm here for you."
It was the house, or rather what was going on in it, that was bothering them both. Avalon tugs Josh towards a place to sit in the garden, away from the house.
