Night on the town
He had mentioned wanting to spend a night out with her. Something a little nicer and he planned on taking her dancing too. He had other things in mind but he wasn't going to say anything about that.

He had kept a few things close to his chest so to speak and really didn't want to say why he still had a slightly healing bruise on the underside of his jaw still. He wasn't going to say why until after he actually did propose. She'd probably yell a bit at him for going to meet her parents without him but he knew she couldn't be too upset. Or wouldn't.

He's nervous. He checks to see if his tie is still straight while he waits for Cat. He really better not screw this up.

Cat had definitely been at a loss to explain (or get an explanation for) the bruise on Mark's jaw, but in their line of work, she figured everybody probably took a few knocks to the head. In-between heroing and stuff the at the gym, she'd certainly acquired her share of them over the years.

Cat appeared a few moments later, after having finally decided on her best dancin' dress. Just a little too short and just a little too tight, just enough to keep the fellah excited, as her mama might say.

"Well?" she asked him. "How do I look?"

	He is of course distracted by it. In a thoroughly positive way of course but that's still distracted. "It's very....nice," he settles on that compliment. "A good dress for dancing." Oh that is a lovely dress. He hopes it doesn't distract him too much. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	That just has him nearly humming. Right now Mark looks just utterly pleased with the world. He's got a car that they'll be taking to the resturaunt and suddenly decides he won't wait until after they're dancing. He can't. Too excited. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	At least it's easy to tell it's the good ind of nervous. He's not hiding the fact he is happy. Which is nice because he has never bothered covering up his emotions that much. Both of them being almost equally happy is very pleasant. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
