Shenanigans
There was a big difference between a job for work and a job for fun.

This was all about having fun. She had broken into a highly secured lab just because she could. Then broke into a secure vault with the kind of skill and ease that only a professional like her could have.

Then for extra fun she left a note pointing out their security flaws with a big silly smiley face at the end. She was feeling pretty playful after all.

Then she was out and racing across roof tops enjoying her little game. This was way too much fun.

The last few days hadn't been the most interesting in terms of crimefighting, and the circus thing wasn't exactly the top of his list for enjoyment either. So when he sees a familiar figure flying over the rooftops, he can't help the slow grin that spreads across his face.

This at least was usually fun.

And he's off, racing over the rooftops to catch up to her, until he's swinging right along side the foxy thief.

"How's the usual nighttime stroll?"

"Oh you know, I'd hate to disrupt a work night," he shrugs, as if he didn't do that on a regular basis.

He doesn't know where she's just broken into, but judging by the way she'd been leaping over rooftops? He assumes she's already gotten in somewhere. When she was successful you could tell just by how she left the place.

But still, he assumes she's left with something.

	"Who says I was working?" She hadn't. When had work come into this conversation? She just quirks an eyebrow at him. And this is when she runs! Why not? 	This was part of the game. She's going towards the biggest sky scraper she can spot in this part of town. She wants to gain height to pull off a fun disappearing act on him. That means Wayne Enterprises to pull this off right. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	He suspects she'll try and lose him here, but he knows the ins and outs of the building and it's structure like the back of his hand. Soon he's scaling it with the help of his grappling gun right behind her. He has to intention of losing her. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	She's doing the same thing really. She's only ahead of him because she was moving first. Once she is at the top of the building she makes a run for it as fast as she can then waves at him right before she jumps. Like a crazy person. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

He laughs a little at the wave. She'd found his favourite diving spot. At the top you could see the whole city and jumping off from it was as close to skydiving as you could get without a plane. Besides, you were literally jumping into the heart of Gotham off one of it's most secure buildings. Yes, he loved it up here.

Running after her, he doesn't even pause as he spreads his arms and swan dives right after her. His cape flapping behind him as he plunges into the Gotham night, Thomas can't keep the ridiculously large grin off his face.

Damn this was fun.

	This is so much fun. Only problem is how cold it gets doing this. She manages at the half way point to vector off into the dark. It was a good point to leave off at and she keeps running like a mad woman. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	He's still grinning as he sees her disappear into the dark. Already knowing this route, instead of landing and running after her he goes from his controlled free fall into letting his cape go rigid and glide after her. It was faster this way anyway. Run Foxy run. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	He tries not to laugh at her nose crashing into his chest once he lands and turns to face her. He really does. He'd even argue the slight twitch of his lips was just a twitch and not him silently laughing. "Looks like I caught the thief," he says while wrapping his arms around her in a hold. 	Checking to make sure it was indeed okay, his uniform did have light armour under it after all, he finally lets himself smile, very amused at her. "So, what'd you manage to get today Foxy?"
