After the Party
The guests had gone and the house was empty. People had dispersed and Katima had insisted on helping Henry clear up the mess. It wasn't as bad as she thought it might be. For it to have been a party, everyone had been very good. Nothing was broken, just empty bowls and cans and cups. Being Lanterns made cleaning that much easier so in short order, it was time to unwind, to call it a night.
Katima stood at Henry's door.
"I'm ready to go to bed now. Did you want me in a particular spot in the bed? I probably won't need much in the way of blankets. It's very comfortable here."
She smiles.
