No Manhunter Escapes!
So. Heather had woken up today and worked on some of her sculptures. In the time since, she'd been changed into rock candy by a purple light, been nearly captured by alien robots, rescued by a girl with magic powers, told by Papa Smurf that she was the host to something called the "Predator", hauled off to an alien planet to watch the Justice League fight a bunch of Green Lanterns alongside a guy who was yellow and had fangs and a crazy Amazonian woman, met two more people with light things inside them, been told that the evil alien robots had a couple people like them and that the alien robots were working for the guy who'd destroyed Coast City, and was now floating in a bubble generated by a Green Lantern with the others like her, with other Green Lanterns, the Justice League, and a handful of Blue Lanterns, which she didn't even know existed before today.

Yeah.

She was gonna need a lot of therapy to get over this one.

	Okay, so now she was flying. That was... kinda cool, actually. Although how she was flying when she was made out of rock, well... she really didn't know. A couple of the Lanterns hung back, to protect her and the others. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	There was a lot of pyromania left in Michael after the fight with Dex, and the intense desire to Burn had not once abated. But now that he was given evil robots to fight, he decided to test their upper stress limit on heat. Plasma, plasma, plasma at the nearest one. That should abate the need a bit. 	Saishu draws both blades, and launches herself into the air, moving to the opposite flank as Corrinna. Her tactics are similar for coming from similar origins, at some level, and she really isn't sure about the Amazon, so some distance may be best. "Let them come!" (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Jon goes directly at the front rank, leading with heat vision, trying to draw the brunt of their assault towards him and draw attention, since he knows some of this are especially effective against green lanterns. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	With the heroes on the offensive, the Manhunter robots fell to various blows, powers, and blasts of Green and Blue. A few even tried to siphon power from the Green Lanterns, but when the Blue Lanterns backed them up, they consumed too much power, detonating themselves instead. The Manhunter hoard seemed endless, but the heroes were making progress. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	It was actually pretty amazing how quickly things fell when they were encased in solid crystal. Considering the alternative was panic, Heather thought she was doing fairly well. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

"Keep pressing, don't give them any time to regroup!" Jon calls, well aware how well the Manhunters can communicate among themselves.

That said, he hits his top speed, plowing through the ranks and leading with heat vision to try and get towards their facility. If they have prisoners, he needs to get to them and help get them out before the Manhunters use them as hostages against the surrender of the attacking forces.

	Henshaw continued watching the fight and... was that...? Kent's boy. It had to be. While his focus had, in his later years, largely shifted to harrying the Green Lanterns, Kent and his ilk remained a permanent fixation as well. A Manhunter blast takes out the protective bubble one of the Green Lanterns had put up around him, and another blast hits the rock he's standing on. Harry loses balance and falls straight towards the planet.

"No no, ugh TELEPORT?" He's still plummeting down. Time to panic. "Ahhhhhhhhhhh" He shuts his eyes tight in fear.

Only to find that at one point he's stopped falling and seems to be hovering. Carefully opening his eyes he sees that an indigo aura has appeared around him. He can fly!

Celebration is cut short as a Manhunter bears down on him. Time for a panicked flight back to the group of superheroes to hope that one of them gets this thing off his tail.

Telescopic vision picks up something coming up fast on them. Jon calls back towards Corrinna, since she followed him into the breach.

"Henshaw is coming. I'll keep him busy, take a crew and get inside and rescue the prisoners at all costs. Destroying them all won't help if they kill them meanwhile. Take Avia, she can help break in." he suggests, then turns his path to intercept Henshaw.

	Avia flipped over a Manhunter, kicking it squarely where its neck met its head, snapping it just enough to ruin it's aim. She pushed off and landed back on her aero-disks. "On it! Let's boom, babies!" (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Alina drops to intercept the Manhunter chasing the Indigo kid, sweat pouring off of her as she simply casts whatever spell happen to come to her fingertips. There's queasiness in her gut to go with the pounding in her head, and it's a good thing she's flying because her legs feel like noodles. But what's she going to do, call a time-out in the middle of battle? Right.

She needs to keep pushing through it. She'll just...stay away from the others so the Manhunters take the full brunt of her side-effects too.

	Saishu is lost in the sheer thrill of battle. She doesn't need to hold back, and the pain from the return attacks just pushes her harder. If these things have what it takes to bring her down, so be it. Until then, she will continue to aggressively scrap as many of them as come her way. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
