Hitting the newstands today was Maxim's annual all-super-hero issue.  They covered super-heroes on other occasions,  interviews, photoshoots and the like, but once  a year, it was all super-hero related stuff.  And Avia's schedule had finally settled down enough to do the photoshoot and interview, she'd vetted the copy, had a fight with her mother about the whole thing, and donated the entire check to one of her favorite charities.

Thanks to some advice to Cindy, she'd also retained the rights to the negatives on the photos.

Also, a certain someone special would be getting a copy in the mail, autographed,  along with "consider this a preview."
