The headquarters of the YJLA

For a moment, all was quiet and dark in the headquarters of the YJLA. Sophisticated monitoring equipment kept track of emergencies around the world and in near-space, all quietly humming away into the night.

The quiet was suddenly broken by a crackle of green light, briefly illuminating the entire meeting room in its verdant glow. The glow subsided after a moment, coalescing into a single figure out a little blue man, the symbol of the Blue Lanterns glowing upon his chest. His expression was far from unreadable; in fact, he looked rather worried, as though the weight of the universe was bearing down upon him.

There was little he liked about this. He would have preferred to bring his Blue Lanterns into this, but without a Green to work with, their powers were limited. And they could not work with the Green Lanterns on this. Not until he had had time to persuade them that this course of action was the correct one. They would act hastily. And though they would not admit it, they would be acting from emotion. Things rarely went well when his brothers acted upon their little understood emotions.

Instead, he reached out with the Green power that was still his birthright and rather unceremoniously brought each member of the Young Justice League to their headquarters.

	She starts to deflect the fire with her arm bands. She's not afraid of getting hit but she's here to protect Florian. She's always just a little afraid. She can't help it. The fear is there but she doesn't let it rule her. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Florian feels ridiculous hiding in the corner glowing like radioactive Sunny D. Especially since for some reason Wonder Girl who definitely had better things to do than save him was there doing exactly that. He bit his lip without thinking, hissing and drawing blood when he forgot about his monstrous teeth. At least that was still it's proper color.

Carefully, he observed the manhunters as Wonder Girl deflected the bullets. They looked robotic. Did that mean water could disrupt them? If he could figure out a way to turn on the sprinkler system, or get to the water hose, even knock one of them into the community pool. His eyes scanned the center for plausible options.

	She blocks the blow. Then she tries to grab the Manhunter to throw him at the others. "Run, I'll try catching up with you. You can't let them catch you... they'll only end up hurting you," Corinna barks sounding less friendly. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Florian was already leaping pushing across the ground with his long legs towards the large hose used to clean the pool decks and its valve. Only his legs didn't hit the ground again and he was still moving, even faster than if he had been running.

He was flying.

The yellow glow of his skin had increased into an actual aura of sorts and he was zooming across the pool deck to the hose.

	"You can fly?" Corinna freezes for a moment in surprise. Then starts to move again charging after the Manhunters. "Didn't you hear me? Run!" She goes into a flying tackle to try nabbing a Manhunter. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Florian glances guiltily over his shoulder at her command, but there's three of the robots and only one Wonder Girl. He knew he'd never be able to live with himself if he left without trying to help her. Plus...maybe she knew something about what was happening to him.

He reaches the hose unwinding it and starting it up full blast in a few quick yanks before pointing it directly at the two manhunters she wasn't aiming for.

	The one Manhunter intercepts Corinna's charge, battering at her with its power baton. The other two are taken by surprise by the force of the blast of the hose, slamming against the wall, before slowly advancing again. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	She gets knocked to one knee. Then sweeps with her leg to knock the Manhunter to her level. That way she can strike it again and again. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Florian tries to crank the water on higher and keep it aimed at the robots, but they're obviously waterproof and were only caught off guard. He wasn't sure how he could get away now, or that he even would if he could. The robots were after him, not Wonder Girl. She'd already been knocked to one knee, even if she was taking care of that manhunter the other two were left.

If he could get them away from her he could at least make sure she wasn't harmed too badly trying to protect him. He accidentally shreds his lip again with his teeth before launching himself sideways away from Wonder Girl and the other manhunters. He was glad that he ended up moving through the air again. Maybe that way he could get farther before they caught him.

	"....I won't let you have him," Corinna barked. Then sprung and moved very quickly after the Manhunters. She is obviously not concerned with her own safety. Even though she can feel herself throbbing she knew she couldn't stop. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Florian froze in mid-air looking between the remaining manhunters and then to the hole they had left in the ceiling of the community center. He could hear a strain in Wonder Girl's voice and knew there was no way he could could do anything against the robots inside, but maybe there was a piece of the roof or some pipe or something he could hit one of them with up above.

That idea in mind he shot towards the hole in the ceiling.

Florian only knew that Wonder Girl was yelling something, but he could no longer hear what it was as he shot into the sky with the last manhunter pursuing him. He looked around for anything he could use as a weapon or hiding place, but the speed of his flight and the yellow cast to his vision was disorienting. Not to mention he didn't want to draw the robot towards anyone else it could harm.
