And Ash ignores any knowing looks people give each other. She knows Michael just doesn't notice. That makes this a great crush. It's very safe to have because he won't intentionally hurt her.
He hasn't dated anyone else. Yet.
And she is safe from him figuring this out on his own. No one who knows her will out her because that would be mean.
But on days like this she wishes she was brave enough because she'd love to really say hello.
"Hi." She pulls out a seat flopping into it with that grin still there. "The weather outside is awesome today."
