Surprise!
Cait had been planning and had been working on this surprise for Ty for sometime. It had been hard with the link they shared, but Cait had done her best to try to keep it from him. Cait had been keeping up her end of the deal with Arthur and there were some benefits outside of getting along better with her father.

One of those benefits was a three bedroom apartment in San Francisco for Cait, Ash and Ty. There had been some objections to Ty being there, but Cait had done her best to assure her father and mother that Ty would have his own room and that the two of them were not having sex yet. It took some time, but eventually she did get through to Arthur and then came the apartment.

Now she just had to surprise her boyfriend. Cait headed to his lab.

"Let's get back to the Tower and get some things for tonight," she said as she wrapped her arms around him. Flying or teleporting. Cait didn't care for either.

"We can teleport over," she said. "I want to get our things over here and settle in. Would you be up for a movie and some cuddling on the couch when we're done?"

He nods, trying something new, helping stabilize her balance centers and all when he teleports them back to her room. "Ok, that's a good reason."

"That wasn't so bad," she said. Her stomach felt like it flipped, but it wasn't so bad. "I'm going to pack a few things if you want to do the same." She kissed him lightly. "I love you and I'm excited we're going to have our own place."

"Just a few essentials for tonight," she said. "Tomorrow we can get the rest. Besides, the dresser came with the room. I don't think they'd appreciate me just taking it."

"Give me ten minutes," Cait said as the first thing she picked up was the dolphin ice statue Ty made for her. It was one of the few things to survive all this time.

Ty nods, heading back to his room, then his lab to gather everything he's going to need, teleporting it over to the other place as he gets to it.

Cait grabbed some clothes and her toothbrush and stuffed them into a bag. She grabbed the stuffed dolphin and the ice statue. She was ready when Ty was ready.

Ty has already sent his critical items over - a bit of his lab concerning current projects, his computer, his kindle, a few old books and a lot of his clothes. As soon as he has everything done, he heads over to meet Cait.

"I'm ready when you are," she said when he entered her room. Cait was excited. Their first night in their new apartment.

Ty is obviously excited as well, both judging by the smile, and the hints of nervousness through their link. Still, its mostly positive. "All set." he replies, taking hold of her arm, helping telepathically settle her and steady her centers of balance to try and cut down on the nausea, then jumps them to the apartment.

Cait closed her eyes for the teleport. It wasn't so bad, but she suspected Ty had something to do with it. She gave him a kiss after the teleport. "Thank you."

Ty uses his version of magic to cast a quick healing spell to help her recover from the nausea, and then summons a quick mist of water to help as well, after returning the kiss. "Of course, love. Welcome to our new home."

"Ok, I'll figure something out, love."

He digs through movies for a little bit while she's getting ready, finally setting out Shakespeare in Love, The Three Musketeers, the first movie of the Game of Thrones films and The Fifth Element, Silence of the Lambs, so she can choose genre and what she's in the mood for. Then he sets to getting the furniture arranged comfortably, the television set up (carefully morphing it into a giant screen, now that they have space), and getting the DVD player set up.

Cait put her few things away and returned to the living room. She was surprised for a moment about the tv, but this was Ty. She should be used to this by now.

She looked at the movies and went with The Three Musketeers seeing how she wasn't in the mood for anything too serious.

Cait settled in next to Ty. She grabbed his arms and wrapped them around her. A content sigh escaped her. "Thanks. Didn't want anything too serious or deep."
