Now Presenting... an idea
A lot of things have been bothering Steven. Nic's death is still pressing... and he's just reaching the point he's realizing he, Mickey and especially Cindy, could really use something to help occupy their time and minds. He's familiar enough with Hawks, he hopes she has some of the 'family curse'.

He also really needs a source of income, so he can be the one to take Mickey out now and then. Which feeds back into the first issue.

So... being a Garrick, he goes about being proactive. Something to do, a potential way of making money, and some fun for people.

He starts by placing calls to Mickey (first and foremost), Jai, Cindy, Petra and Cat Grant, asking them to meet him in the JSA lounge. By the time they get there, he's speed sketched some stuff out for his presentation.

	And Mickey will give her boyfriend a kiss when she enters. "Hi handsome," she said, before turning her attention to Cindy. "Hi Cindy. How're you holding up?" 	Cat's calmed down some over her initial anger at what had happened to Nic, but it still boiled deep within her. But she knew that she needed to get on with her life, in between doing what she could to help there. So she was coming from Sherwood Florist today, but gave everyone a smile and wave as she came in. 	FWOOSH! Hopefully no one is working on any paperwork, but if they are, those papers are returned to them in a neat pile before they even hit the floor. "Sorry I'm late. Was a little busy." Jai says. Thankfully, Steven is just as good at collecting his papers, all sketches at this point.

"Glad you made it. A business proposal, actually. I know everyone is busy, but I figured we could sit down for a little bit."

He takes a deep breath. "I want to start a movie production company. I can direct... and have ideas for some scripts and special productions. But I need some things... starting capital, shooting space, a sponsor, actresses... and these are where you might come in, if you're all still interested enough to be with me so far to hear the more detailed proposal?"

"Ok, so here's the basic idea. If I can get sponsors, we film at Warriors. Jai and I can super-speed set up and tear down things on weekends.

We get some room in the heroic community by setting up an associated charity fund, the 'real heroes' fund... each film starts with a short of heroes and heroines in costume signing autographs, visiting children's hospitals, doing other good works, and asking for donations to help children's charities... both because it will make it easier to work with parents, and more importantly, I think its a cause we can all get behind.

We then cut to the promo for Warriors. Quick ad, before it cuts to the credits to acknowledge Warriors, and the production company and all, and credit the actors and actresses.

I take a modest living wage as part of the 'meeting production costs', all profits are split between Warriors' events, the charity and all of you.

I have four thoughts, currently, for films. One would require someone with connections to call Lucas Arts, but they tend to be fairly friendly about the EU, as long as we don't touch main properties and pay them royalties... it involves super speed lightsaber battles, a hot, green alien chick to be rescued, and we can figure out more from there.

A super speed race with as many speedsters as we can possibly get.

Three, mud wrestling night at Warriors - more as a promo for Warriors, but it could also raise awareness of the company and make good, fast profits for low cost. Superheroines mud wrestling.

Then doing a charity superheroines cheesecake calendar... strictly no nudity or anything, but cheesecake, with profits mostly going to charity... and a 'making of' film."

	Ten seconds ago, Jai West wasn't sure that going to college for film studies was what he wanted. Suddenly, he's not only certain, but it feels like he's being pointed on the correct path. "I'd like Cindy to sign on to do the accounting, help with contracts, all of that. Make sure we're covered. And, yes, Cat, of course." he replies with a grin. "Absolutely nothing above PG-13 rating - we are tying in a charity and all, and I don't want Guy to kill me.

But if you're all on board, if Jai is willing to help with the cameras, and Cindy is willing... and Mickey is ok with me filming Cat and Petra mud wrestling... I think, as a group, we can do this."

Cindy, I figure you and I can sit down and work out the finances, and figure out how much startup would cost. I drew up a few sketches and rough plans for the shows on tap, and a couple set layouts. Still pretty rough."

He shrugs. "Honestly, I didn't want to go too far without input from all of you. Besides, for some of these, we still need a little more cast... but I figured the people in here, if they're willing to help however they can, would effectively be partners in this.

Speaking of which, I was thinking of 'Speedforce Productions', but ideas are welcome..." He looks to Mickey. He needs her ok, as the girlfriend, if this is going to get off the ground.

He nods. "If that's a worry for you, totally. I think they could sell well. If you wanted to be in either one, especially the calendar, I'd like to do the photography, but otherwise... Jai is in film study. He could do it, or someone could be hired."

He takes a deep breath. "I now what it might sound like - but I'm in love with you. Petra and Cat can be entertaining, but I don't love them, and I wouldn't ever cheat on you. You're everything I want in a girl, period."
