Yo Ho Ho And a Bottle Of Rum
Cait sat in a lotus position on the beach with her eyes closed. The waves washed up on the shore and soaked her, but it didn't register in her mind. Not that she ever minded being wet. She did get strength from the water and today she needed all of her strength and more, physical and mental.

Ty was starting an interview at Star Labs for a position, something he had worked so hard for, and Cait was trying to help keep him centered enough to get through it. The bond that they usually shared was stronger than it had ever been and Cait was still struggling. They were linked so strongly that she could almost hear, smell, see and feel everything he was experiencing. She had never been so far into some other living being's mind before. She could almost imagine the headache that would come after this.

"You're doing fine." Her mental 'voice' was as soothing as she could make it and she exerted as much control as she could through the link. "We can do this."

	"That was Ty's grandfather, I think. The absorption cells are all just genetic now. He doesn't have any way of controlling the other personalities. Best way so far has just been for someone to be there fore him and play anchor." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

"He's got the powers of the Secret Society of Supervillians," Steve said. "Most of the powers aren't active, and he only has certain core powers. But when he gets stressed, other manifestations occur and seem to be able to take control from time to time."

That about summed it up.

"If you can find a way to de-power his absorption cells, though, then you would probably be able to snap him out of this Captain Stingaree phase. If you have your grandfather's schematics on Amazo, you should be able to come up with something. They might be biological with Ty, but they should work the same way."

"Sheesh, imagine if he could," Max said, shaking his head.

"I destroyed the files so no one could get their hands on them, but I read them before I did. Old Man Thaddeus was considering using Amazo on Captain Marvel, but was setting up a plan in case he turned on him. Something about shifting his absorption cells to something more manageable." Max looked back to Steve. "Organic? That complicates things a little. Wait..do we have any telepaths on the team?"

"It's not a cure, Ruth. I don't have nearly enough time to pull something like that out of my ass. No, it's a temporary fix at best," he stated before finishing small panel. It was small, compact, with a few settings. "Based on Thaddeus' research, this should theoretically be able to force Ty to take on a different, individual power set. Switch it to one of the Society leaders and theoretically he should regain control. Problem is..it has limited range."

	Jarrod had been meditating floating a bit away from everyone. He had been using remote viewing to keep an eye on the ship and what was going on there. "If that doesn't work I can try to force some order and stability onto his mind," Jarrod says. His aura could do that if he got close enough. "I can help teleport people as well."
