"Well, since Ty isn't trying to marry a boy right now, I'm pretty sure his wishes are being met with regarding Cait. She might get hurt, but she's not going to get killed."
Maybe that wasn't as comforting a thought as some people wanted, but it was how Steve saw it.
"He's clearly more concerned with hurting us, in any case," he said. "Otherwise he wouldn't have bothered to show up here. And I doubt he thinks we're willing to play along with the wedding, so let's try to focus on that."
