"Oh, yeah. Coffee would probably be good." Rex says, coming out of his haze. He probably could have made the coffee, but his mind was elsewhere, and had been for days.
They still hadn't found Nic's body.
He'd been avoiding his mother's and Carter's phone calls.
He was probably worrying Hope.
"How did you sleep, Goddess?" Rex asks, trying to be conversational.
