Summer Gift Giving (Open to Titans East)
Michael had hoped to visit Titans East tower sooner than this, but with an uptick in school work (Summer intersession: The same amount of work in a semester in about a six week period) he hadn't been able to really come by the tower to drop off his gift to the princess.

It was something small, a small pendant with a T symbol to represent the Titans and colored Patina to give it a nice blue color. He had it wrapped up and ready to go. So once his final class of the day was over he made sure to get everything packed up and head to New York, where the Titans East were.

"E...E... Excuse me?" She is back to stammering. Then she narrows her gaze a little and straightens her shoulders out.

"We are not weird! O-o... Or t-th...that different t-t-than the surface w-w-world. We j-ju-st s..still s-s-stick t-t-tto our traditions e-even if we-we're tr-trying to ch-change with the times."

Oh Dis that sounded so horrible. But he had upset her by what he just said and it was harder to talk when her emotions were running high.

She was still very upset with how it had sounded.

She opens her mouth to try and say something. And it's so bad nothing can actually come out. Her nerves have never felt like this before. She tries to speak again and instead hiccups reflexively and goes a little cross eyed because really is that all she can manage to say?

Oh for crying out loud. She's never been rendered this nervous or upset before.

She nodded after giving it some thought and passed over her large book so she could open the still chilled bottle of Dr Pepper she had with her. Her hand wasn't very steady but she managed to get a few sips down.

"S-... Sorry. I g-get nervous really bad. Start to s-s.. stutter really badly." She blushes more than a little.

"it can g-get so bad I c-can't form words."

"It's hard for me at the very least. Like I said. Sheltered." She has no idea how to explain how much.

"Back home..., Altantis was very different. The political climate was deadly instead of just difficult to navigate. So to protect me, I was pretty much not allowed to go anywhere alone. And the guards weren't exactly talkative. So I didn't really even have friends before I came here."
