Arthur was silent for a moment and then he smiled. "Ty, my daughter loves you very much and you make her very happy. You have my blessing and I hope she gives you the answer you want."

"You have my word, sire. I'll take good care of her." Feeling like he could almost fly, Ty has to force himself to walk instead of running back to Cait yelling something joyous or other. That would ruin the surprise.

He extends an arm to her. "Ready for that walk?"

He leads her out into the gardens, taking his time about it and enjoying the scene, and her company. He slides his other hand into his pocket for the box with the ring in it, just to reassure himself its still there.
