Cait paused, but didn't turn around to face him. "I am not Atlantis. I am a person. Flesh and blood. It's about time you and Atlantis remember that. I love you too, Father, but I will not let Atlantis run my life. You have Ash and Koryak to rule Atlantis. I want no part of it."
Cait took a deep breath.
"Goodbye, Father."
She grabbed the bag by the door and started to walk out. Somehow she managed to not start crying.
