Calypso hung up the cell phone Lian had given her and turned it off. She didn't want another unexpected call from that man again. The simple fact that she had met him went against everything she wanted. She didn't want to meet her father, and she certainly didn't want to be recognized as his daughter. It wasn't that she hated him or disliked him. Calypso just wasn't made for that world. Her world was set to a different tone -- it was darker, dirtier, rougher, and tougher.

After that call, she needed something else to keep her mind at ease. She went upstairs to the ground floor of the Outsiders compound and started cooking Hamburger Helper. It was her favorite meal. Creamy Chicken Noodle was her comfort flavor.

Tim waits for Lian to join him in the other room before he speaks.

"First...I wanted to say I'm sorry about Keith. I'm really sorry. This whole thing with the Artist is my fault and it's gotten out of control." Tim says earnestly. He can't offer Lian his suspicions about Keith, because she's got too much on her plate. He also doesn't want to get her hopes up.

"Secondly...I need to leave town for a bit and I'm not sure when I'll be back. I'm going after the Artist and I need to handle a couple of other personal matters while I'm away. I need you to explain this to Mia and J'anna when you get the chance, because they'll both want to bite my head off for not telling them." he says.

"Can I ask that of you?"

"Your due date isn't far off." he says. "How are you feeling?"

	Tim didn't like the sound of this. He was aware that Lian and Cerdian have history, but he didn't really know how much. He hadn't pressed J'anna for anymore information, either, out of respect. "If you don't trust him, I can find you someone else." he says. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	"All right, no problem." Tim says, reminding himself to contact Roy and keep him aware of the situation. Lian was terrible at seeking help or admitting when she was in a bad place; Tim was much the same way, so he knows some of the signs.
