Perfect Boyfriend Blues
"And all the lovely ladies, they wore a gossamer gown. They rode the handsome gentlemen all up and down the town," Eli sang to himself, rather loudly as he drank down some beer. He was up on the roof with a six pack of them drink, on number three.

He thought about calling GK earlier, but he didn't want to be a bother. He just felt really bad in a way, GK was just so nice and he was a terrible person. It was like GK would get the moon for him if he asked, which didn't feel right.

Not knowing how to handle it, he did what he always did, which was to run away. In this case away from sobriety.

Jay was not about to be threatened by a violent drunk, at least not without ability to defend himself.

"You're from A future. I don't know a lot about how it all works, but considering we've had people from the Legion show up, and their future ain't like yours? Think maybe the future doesn't have to happen the way yours did? Now why don't you settle down, and maybe we can work this out?"

	Watching the both of them change, Eli steps backward, his eyes wide. His head flicks back and forth at the two of them and he mumbles. "You're against me... you all are... trying to get me killed... that's it. Kill me no aliens... no one to warn them. You want them to come don't you? "Well you won't have me!" 	Without hesitation, Jay leaps after him, trying to tackle Eli before he can get away. If they can settle him down, he hopes this will all be more workable when Eli is sober - but right now, he's dangerous. 	Jay has let his Hawk nature take over, letting his combat sense guide him, holding tight with one super strong hand and pounding with the other, quite happy to send them both crashing hard. 	Ruth just knows this has to get settled before somebody gets hurt. From the edge of the roof, she jumps as well. Flying is not something with which Ruth has chosen to experiment often. She doesn't do it well. But she manages to glide over and just try to herd Eli, occupied with Jay, back onto the roof so they can bring him inside. "You need to get to bed." Seeing as how Eli's worked up in general about killing random aliens it's fairly possible that he'd just end up flying somewhere and passing out. Now he's just fighting mad and all his ire is focused on Jay.

"Let. ME. GO" There's a shrillness in his voice that goes a bit out of hearing range and into the sonic edges of things. It's like a very weak sonic scream, somewhat similar to his father's but very watered down.

From the look on Eli's face, he wasn't expecting it.

	"AGH!" That really hurt, and sets his head spinning. Which, unfortunately, pushes more of the Hawk buttons. He lashes out with everything, trying to headbutt Eli hard as he can, no longer caring if both of them fall. Before, he just wasn't about to let a violent drunk go off half-cocked - now, he's just chaos-mad. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
