	Michael often didn't use his powers for personal projects, not even for his schooling. He used it for his "two other jobs" as Uncle Ryan put it. But today, he did. Margaret Choi was a big fan of old Victorian style jewelry. Michael may not like the flashy, almost gaudy stuff, but this is not for him. (Reply to this)

Alina brings her mother breakfast in bed, along with a flowerpot filled with dirt and a lumpy hand-made card. Seriously hand-made -- she'd made the paper herself, with a little help from water, a blender, a piece of screen, and paper scraps. When her mother's done admiring it, Alina rips the back half of the card into pieces, buries them in the flowerpot, and casts a spell. Moments later, the flower pot is full of pansies (pansies that apparently think they're Venus Fly-Traps, but still pansies).

	Dallas can't speak to his mother anymore, so he spends the day watching over her and making sure she's safe. When he sees Houston stop by to see her, Dallas considers that enough for her to be okay and lets them be. (Reply to this)

	Dinadan and his father travel the phone lines to spend the weekend with his mother. A party is thrown in New Morlaidh, like it has every year since the royal family imported the holiday. If Dinadan's a little quieter this year, his mother understands. (Reply to this)

	Cerdian returns to Atlantis to honor his mother, who, of course, tries to dote on him. It takes an hour of convincing, but she eventually allows him and Father to treat her like a queen. Cerdian, of course, leaves long before Mom and Dad decided to have their "coronation ceremony". (Reply to this)

	Ty makes a card for his mother, and speed-bending puts rose seeds through a growth cycle until they're at the perfect stage. He delivers them himself, but without Cait or Ruth's help, doesn't trust his stability. After wishing his mother a Happy Mother's Day, and giving her a big hug, he returns to the tower to make sure everyone else can go home. (Reply to this)

"You know you didn't have to do this, right, Pippi?" Mitzi asks, hugging her friend tightly, probably for a bit longer than she should have.

Most days, Mitzi gets out of bed, and she can fake her way through the day. She can smile and listen when Lily talks about how awesome her mother is, or how well Ash, Dinah and Riley get along with their parents. When Pippi talks about the plans she and her mother have coming up, or when Robin, on rare occasion, talks about her mother, Mitzi is able to sit and listen with rapt attention.

She's able to flirt with Adam about things that will probably never happen or enjoy being a member of the Teen Titans.

Other days, however, like today, the pain crushes her so badly that she all she can do is cry her eyes out when she wakes up, stumble through her day, and cry her eyes out whens he goes to sleep. She tells herself that no one can hear her in her room, or if they can, they aren't paying attention. This is easier than believing that someone can hear her and feels /sorry/ for her, because she'd rather not have that.

After dinner, however, Mitzi stands at her mother's grave and asks the same question she's asked every for the last few months.

"Why me?"

There's no answer, though; there never will be. There are a lot of things that she'll never get answers to, now that her mother is gone.

"Happy Mother's Day, Annie. I...I know we didn't always get along, but...I miss you." she says.

	Will made sure his mom was well taken care of this day. It was not just a day to celebrate the fact his mother was just that, but he had an important admission to make today: he was going to tell his mother that he had a girlfriend. So he surprises his mother with breakfast in bed, as he usually does. And waits for her to finish so he can spring the news. (Reply to this)(Thread)
