Show me your... Christmas Spirit
New York City was seeing a beautiful spring day. The temperature was sixty degrees, the sun was out and New Yorkers were enjoying the perfect spring day. The grass in Central Park was green and the trees had buds on them.

Without warning the temperature dropped to a balmy thirty degrees and snow started falling all around the city. Strands of Christmas lights appeared on trees and Christmas music started blaring from speakers around the city. The clothes of the residents of the city, including the superhero population, turned into bikinis and surf shorts.

The snow continued to fall and eventually the city was coated in white. Ice formed in front of Rockefeller Center and the skating rink was back. Jingle bells could be heard and eventually Santa Claus, wearing a Nixon mask, appeared and he was flanked by elves wearing masks of presidents. All of the elves carried strings of beads and wore smiles on their faces.

It was a chaotic scene.

"Ooohhh, oohhh, oooohhhh... my own show! Can Mitzi be my... guy who plays the piano thing... uhm... person? She'd be really good at it..."
Pause.

"Mitzi, you should learn to play the little piano thing."
Cause she'd be great at it, whatever it was.

"And I'll definitely have to talk to my wardrobe people! And... oh, I still need to get Dinah a calculator, because Santa sucks this year. And I need to find out where to find a unicorn!"

"You can have whomever you want play the piano, babe. You're the star!"

Boo thinks for a moment. "A unicorn huh? I may just have one here somewhere. Let me see." Boo pulled out a large sack from nowhere and started going through it.

He pulled out a calculator and handed it to Pippi. She said she wanted one for Dinah. He waved his hand and 1/2 price off sale signs appeared in all of the store windows. He dug farther into the bag and pulled out a real tiny Unicorn." It pranced around his hand and he offered it to her.

She takes the calculator, putting it in her pack to give to Dinah, then looks to Mitzi, smugly.

"See? I told you there would be Christmas sales!"

Then she turns back around and sees what's being held out to her.

"Unicorn!!!"

She takes it and gives it a big hug.

Editor's note: There is further dialogue associated with Pippi's receipt of the unicorn. However, the editorial staff did not wish to attempt to fit that number of capital EEE's and exclamation points onto one page.
Suffice to say that by the time she's done, she's begun to turn blue and every animal within a 5 block radius is howling, or otherwise reacting suitably to squeeing of epic scale.

	Bugsy floats over as well, enchanted by the Golden-Haired Goddess. "Everything my buddy said, SUPER-SIZE IT! You will rock the 5th Dimension like nothing else ever has! Mitzi has to cover her ears for a bit with the sounds of the epic squeeing, but she's happy that Pippi's happy. She has her unicorn...for now. Mitzi's certain that Pippi is going to want a larger one in the near future.

"Great job, Pippi! Now, we've got to get back to the Tower and make sure nothing else insane happens." she says.

She then looks at the two imps.

"Bugsy and Boo...I know you guys are trying to be nice, but do you think you could, I don't know, rethink your approach to things? Today wasn't very helpful in making people feel good. They can't feel good when they think they're in danger." Mitzi explains.

	Boo just looked at Mitzi and was confused. "Okay babe," he said to Pippi. "My people will talk to your people about that show. Then you'll be A STAR!" Boo said. "Until then, COWABUNGA!" With that Boo disappeared. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Bugsy doesn't quite get what Mitzi is saying, either, but humans were odd creatures filled with double meanings and such. "You stay awesome, Golden Goddess!" Bugsy says, vanishing as well. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Mitzi is hugged and she hugs Pippi back, taking a look at the unicorn. Well, it /did/ seem real. "Pippi, I can't play the piano. Trust me, I tried when I was a kid." Mitzi says. (Reply to this)(Parent)
