Happy birthday! (April 22nd)
It had been tricky, but after doing a lot of digging, Lian had managed to find out when Calypso's birthday was.

And no, she did not attempt to bake a cake. The last time that happened...well it hadn't exactly gone over well. Her father still said he could smell the scent of charred chocolate cake mix in the kitchen. Instead, Lian had gone out earlier and sprung for catering and a cake at the bakery down the street from her apartment that she had taken Cal to when she was living with her when she first arrived in Star City.

For Christmas, Lian had gotten her a cellphone. This time she bought her some new clothes. Yes, she was on a budget, but she did manage to get her friend a couple of nice outfits.

Lian told the other Outsiders that she planned on celebrating Calypso's birthday and were welcome to celebrate with her, if they wanted to. She set the food out on the kitchen counter and went to go find the birthday girl, gift in hand.

	Calypso tentatively took the box. It was light. "Ah, thank you," she said. And then Calypso opened the box, and she saw clothes. She could use more clothes, actually. And these were all pretty. "These are pretty. Thank you, Lian." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
