How far can you run? (Open)
Jai sat at home, in his room, and looked down at the letters before him with a mixture of excitement and dread. Several of the schools he'd requested information from had written back, asking him to come and view their campuses this summer. Coast City University. Gotham University. Florida State and Loyola. University of Connecticut , Star City University and Butler. All of them wanted to meet him.

Then, he looks over the at the first line of the letter that came for him this morning.

...You have been selected to attend the Ellison Student Journalism Youth Forum in London, England from July 11th-July 15th, with Keynote Speaker, Lois Lane....

Jai was excited to go, if for no other reason than wanting to get away from everything around him for awhile. He wasn't Kid Flash anymore, and he wasn't a member of the Justice League. Both of those were his choice, but neither of them made him feel better. And worse, he still thought about Traya all the time.

"Yeah, I really need to get away." he says, to no one in particular, rising from his bed and changing clothes. He tells his mother he'll be back and later and he's gone before she responds.

Three minutes later, he's in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, skipping rocks in the water along the beach. It's soothing enough that he might get a few minutes of peace.

	Jarrod was already there waiting when Jai got there. One of the gifts of being able to see the future and being able to teleport. Still he figured it would be nice to give him a few quiet moments to himself before speaking to him. “Looks like you’ve got a lot on your plate right now,” Jarrod says skipping a rock and not doing very well maybe getting two skips. Jai blinked when he heard Jarrod's voice. He turned to look at him and relaxed, though the idea that someone was waiting for him when he got here was a little unnerving.

"How'd you guess?" Jai asked, trying for another rock.

"A few weeks ago, I had nothing on my plate. I didn't even /have/ a plate. Now, I don't know what I'm doing or where I'm going.

What about you?" he asks.

"Saw a couple of things mostly letters," Jarrod says, "and I heard a few things from Iris."

"People die and come back a lot more than they should especially in this business," Jarrod says even though he knows a few that aren't coming back, "Pretty sure Hallmark is working on a line of cards for that." He wasn't joking there.

"Haven't been much more busy than usual Just glad that this round of bad visions is over though hard to tell how long that will last."

"Honestly sometimes I do but I can't remember life without it so doesn't bother me to much," Jarrod say, "It's rather useful to be able to see how events will turn out though even if it sometimes attracts the wrong kind of attention." He remembers how Vandel Savage kidnapped him mom once so her could have her use her powers to create a team powerful enough to beat the Teen Titans but she picked people who would not be able to work together even though the were powerful enough.

	"Seems to me you're at a crossroads in life," Jarrod says, "You can't go back to who you were even if you want to but you can decide who you will become and it does seem like you have a lot of options there. 	"Iris is a lot tougher than I ever gave her credit for, and she's really grown up. But I can't put my inability to figure out my life on her. She's been through a lot lately." Jai says, taking a deep breath. "Whatever happens for me next, it's got to be for me, and it's got to be on my terms. But thanks for listening, Jarrod. I really appreciate that." he says. 	Yeah, framed. Keith tried not to look away when Jai said that. He wasn't sure if it worked or not. "We're doing great," he said. "A lot better than I thought. Marissa's been so... awesome.
