With eyes completely open, but nervous all the same (Eli)
A decent, mild beef curry is sizzling on the stove while something chocolate bakes in the oven in GK's tiny basement kitchenette. Turning everything off for a bit, he looks over his clothes to make sure it's all nice and clean, and goes up the stairs to outside, looking for Eli to arrive, or call for better directions.

After getting more cupcakes and milk, he comments quietly, "I could tell you about my junior-high plan to steal a time machine so I can grab a younger Ian McKellan to play Grand Admiral Thrawn in movies of the Zahn trilogy, but I don't want to hit a sore subject."
