Houseguests Hanging Out
The prospect of going back to school has Josh a bit nervous. He's not worried about grades or anything like that, confident he can handle the material. It's all those people. But thankfully, he doesn't have to go yet.

Instead, Josh is staying at Henry's place while the Green Lantern is at school. And since he doesn't want to be a complete mooch, the healer's in the kitchen cleaning. He hums a little tune while he finishes the dishes. "There..." he trails off as he completes the task.

	Josh smiles sadly and nods. "I'll give it my all," he says. "I never expected easy," he sighs. The healer then gives Avalon a wide eyed look. "Ava, dude...what're you talking about?" he asks. "You're a hero! A blue lantern! Someone great and good and amazing," he says. "That's more than enough reason to trust you," he says. "I'm just the street kid spawn of evil." Hrming some, Avalon then asks Henry, "Do you think that it will take long to get either of us into shape for going to school?" he then glances to Josh, smirking a bit as he says "Lazy days spent floating around are fun, but.. "Superman was an alien, Blue," Henry points out. "As for school... that depends on where you end up. Dad's exhausted right now, but he's often out in space, so I think he'd be willing to let you guys stay here. I mean, we've got room, and you need a place to be." He shrugs. "Or if we set you up at the JLA Headquarters, you could end up almost anywhere, with the teleporters and all."

	Josh shifted slightly. "I'll stay wherever you think is best," he murmurs to the Lanterns. "As long as it's not anywhere in Central or Keystone city..." he trails off. "I know it's a longshot but if someone there figured out who I was related to I just...I'm not ready for that," he says with a shudder. "I'm not sure Superman would agree about not counting." "Superman wouldn't," Henry agrees. "He's the last Kryptonian. And... it's up to you, Josh. I mean, I'd need to talk to my dad about it, but I seriously don't mind you staying here, and he's willing to talk about it. With Dad gone so much, having some company around the house has been great. But if you want to stay in the YJLA headquarters, that's totally cool too."

Avalon just eats his banana and tries to not read too much into things. Like how Henry had company before Josh showed up, but that didn't stop Henry from doing his usual thing and chase tail. In fact, since Josh had shown up, Avalon had been a lot less lonely; he spent a greater part of the day alone in the house, sometimes till late at night if a girl or "homework" kept Henry out late. That thought was one that Avalon grasped onto and smiles a bit as he considers it.

"I like you being here." he says shyly to the other blond headed boy. "Especially if they try to send me to school in China or something, I'd just rather hang out with you all day than do that."

Josh nods and goes quiet. He glances at Ava and the banana and blushes furiously as some less than G-rated thoughts pop into his head and quickly looks way.

"I think it might be good if I limit my time at the base. At least at first..." he begins. "So no one gets nervous or paranoid," he explains.

Avalon's shy statement brings Josh's blush back and he nods. "I umm...okay," he says with a smile. "Looks like you've got one more guy to add onto the company Ava already gives you, Henry."

Avalon affects a confused expression and scratches at his head. "I thought that you said that there were places all over.. so there's no school in China? Only your school?" He asks Henry.

Laughing some, Ava shakes his head at himself and said "My translator made it sound like we might get placed in any sort of crazy place. I'm glad that this means we'll be staying in Coast City."

Henry smiles honestly when he sees Josh hug Ava. They're so cute.

Which of course means Josh is totally off-limits now, which is too bad, because he was a ton of fun, but that just wouldn't be right. Not when he's starting up something with Henry's partner.

"Don't be, Josh," Henry explains. "Yeah, there are a couple assholes and bitches like Julia, but they won't bug you. I'll make sure of that."

He looks to Blue. "And there are schools all over the planet. But if you guys are living here, you'll be in my district."

Avalon laughs then and shakes his head, his expression amused, he had really gotten it confused. His previous miff was forgotten then, and he flashes a wide smile to Josh and Henry both, especially as he is hugged. Avalon is an overly affectionate thing, and enjoys that sort of thing.

"I have been wanting to try some things that are hard or impossible with wings.. I keep seeing people dance on the stupid-box and I want to try it myself."

Avalon give Josh a big grin and can't help but pull up to his feet. "Josh, I think that you need some perspective." He announces. "I'm sure that once you get used to the people you will know who to avoid. Life in school is, from what I understand, ten times easier than the street."

He then looks to Henry and says "I kinda already dance, though its more... flying than on the ground. The ballet looks amazing!"

Avalon's eyes slide to Josh, and he blushes almost in unison from the boy's thoughts. Now that they had spent enough time together and Avalon was more attuned to Josh, it was harder for him to ignore the boy's emotions.

Looking to Henry, he says with a smirk "Its not your fault at all that you are dashing and tall and funny. I'm sure that many people just throw themselves at you."
