Houseguests Hanging Out
The prospect of going back to school has Josh a bit nervous. He's not worried about grades or anything like that, confident he can handle the material. It's all those people. But thankfully, he doesn't have to go yet.

Instead, Josh is staying at Henry's place while the Green Lantern is at school. And since he doesn't want to be a complete mooch, the healer's in the kitchen cleaning. He hums a little tune while he finishes the dishes. "There..." he trails off as he completes the task.

	"Henry doesn't feel that way about me." Avalon says in a sad little tone. He then sighs out a breath and plasters on a smile to Josh as he murmurs softly "You feel warm.. and safe in that regard. 	For a moment, Avalon is speechless. He then draws in a slow, deep breath and pushes back a stab of hurt, and offers Josh a small smile. "If.. that's what you want, then.. that's fine. I just.. 	Josh sighs, unsure and confused. "It's not about what I want, Ava," he says, smiling. "I want to know what you want. I mean..." Think...think... "I like you, Ava. A lot. And I really do wanna come to bed with you. Maybe finish what we were about to do before we fell," he blushes. "But...you really want...me?" he asks. Josh and his issues. That question makes the stab of hurt show on Avalon's face that he feels in response, and he takes a step back from Josh. What a splash of cold water that was!

"Why wouldn't I want you?" he then asks, his expression confused and hurt. "We just.. spent all day, and then.." Oh boy. Now he was really confused.

Avalon drags in another breath and then forces his voice to not waver as he says "I.. guess I shouldn't have asked you that. I'm sorry that I.. assumed that.. that.." That you liked me too..

"Because I'm? I don't know," Josh sighs, moving to find back down. "I'm...I really don't know. I'm not used to the idea of...someone actually...liking me," he says, putting his head in his hands.

"Okay...wait..." he takes a deep breath. "I need to stop thinking myself in circles. I really like you Ava. And unless I'm reading things wrong...and please tell me I'm not...you like me too, right?" he looks up at Ava. "I...think I deserve a slap upside the head for worrying about things too much again."

	Josh nods and swallows. He looks down a moment. Okay...think. Can't believe I'm gonna say...think...this but what would Henry do? Eventually Josh gets an idea. He stands back up and walks over to Ava. The healer offers a nervous smile before leaning down and kissing the Blue Lantern. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Well, at least things had switched up onto their head again and Avalon was so confused he didn't know which way was up. Or why Josh was suddenly kissing him.

Avalon was starting to believe that humans were very, very confusing creatures. It was starting to make him rather vexed that he couldn't seem to be able to figure them out. It was a lot easier to just concentrate on kissing Josh back.

	Avalon is the first to speak, and takes a big deep breath and nods to Henry. "Yea. That sounds great." he then says, before he drags in a breath and asks "Would you let my wings free now, please?" 	"Sure thing, Blue. Sorry I forgot when I got home." He gestures, pulling Avalon's wings back out of the pocket dimension they've been stored in. "Oh crap, that feels good.." moans Avalon as he spreads his wings and then shudders at the sensation. Tendons creak and he moans then before pressing the wings back against his spine.

"Thanks for the suggestion, Henry. I keep forgetting about parents in that capacity." replies Avalon, before he gives Josh a sweet little smile and grabs his hand to draw him into the kitchen with himself and Henry.

	Josh just stares and blushes about as red as he ever has as Ava flexes and moans. A little 'eep' escapes him but he's snapped out of it quickly by what Henry says. "Oh! I...yeah...thanks," he says. The healer doesn't fight getting pulled along but keeps blushing. He glances at both other lanterns, not sure what to say or do now. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Henry might as well have seen them eating a sandwich and warned them about getting crumbs on the couch for all that he's acknowledging it. He fills a large pot with water. 	Hrming a bit, Avalon grabs a banana and starts to peel the thing as he watches Henry and Josh both. "Quit that, Josh!" he then quietly says, "Seriously, we're not going to kick you out.."
