Houseguests Hanging Out
The prospect of going back to school has Josh a bit nervous. He's not worried about grades or anything like that, confident he can handle the material. It's all those people. But thankfully, he doesn't have to go yet.

Instead, Josh is staying at Henry's place while the Green Lantern is at school. And since he doesn't want to be a complete mooch, the healer's in the kitchen cleaning. He hums a little tune while he finishes the dishes. "There..." he trails off as he completes the task.

Avalon was starting to realize that he needed to be careful with how he treated Josh. Mainly because he was becoming more and more enamored with the other boy. It wasn't just some physical chemisty thing; he genuinelt enjoyed the taller boy's company and was having a wonderful time at it.

In some odd way though it seemed quite right, and so he just snuggled in to Josh's side and silently wished his wings were free for they would have afforded a bit more privacy.

"Oh man, this got serious fast..." he murmurs to Josh, and then meeps when a zombie jump out. "No! No don't eat him! Watch out Shaun!" He cries and then hides against Josh again.

	Josh smiles and holds Avalon close as they watch the movie. He's starting to notice some things as well and is slightly worried about them. He decides to worry more later instead and just watch the movie. As Avalon calls to the TV, Josh laughs a bit and holds the Blue Lantern. "It's okay, Ava. Look before ya miss it," he says. "I dunno if I can!" cries Avalon, but he looks anyways, just between his fingertips. When Shaun doesn't get chowed on by a zombie, he relaxes into Josh, the relief evident on his face.

Curled up as he was, Avalon has to incline his chin to look into the other boy's face. "I guess the film would be over if the main character got eaten, huh?" he then asks sheepishly.

Oh stars above, what was going on? Avalon is rather unsure, given that he's not exactly been in this situation before. The boy has had his fair share of passionate moments, but they have been on the whole stolen during battlefield downtime or weren't exactly by his own choosing.

This whole having someone's arm around him and watching a film and feeling butterflies in your stomach are all new to Avalon, and he isn't exactly aware of how he's facing Josh more than the movie by now. Although it does seem to make the tingly excited buzz in his brain more when he throws an arm across Josh's belly.

"Don't worry, Ava. Just watch the awesome moment," Josh says, still amused. He pulls the blue lantern a little closer when he relaxes and winces slightly at the some of violence on screen.

"Yeah. That'd end things way too soon," he agrees, smiling down at Avalon.

Josh...don't.

He goes back to watching the screen for a few moments, feeling a little nervous. Around the time Avalon's arm was thrown over him, Josh noticed the man from space was watching him. The healer looks down and smiles, not sure what to do.

	Avalon feels like he is going to choke, his heart is so high up in his throat. He's quite unsure exactly what is happening either, but he's not fighting against it either. He shifts, sitting up a bit taller in the couch, and tilts his head to the side. Without saying much at all, Avalon leans in towards Josh, his lashes heavy over half-mast eyes... 	Josh fells a bit odd as well, trying to make sense of what he's feeling from Ava and from himself. He starts to lean in to meet Ava and just as his lips brush the blue lantern's... INCOMING! 	So one moment, Avalon's heart is in his throat and he's breathless and spinning... and the next he's sprawled on the floor. Groaning a bit, he rubs at his head, eyeing the doorway and Henry. 	Josh blushes furiously and lets his healing powers get to work on Ava. No need to keep a bump to the had. "Hey, Henry," he greets. "We fell off the couch," he says, blinking. 	Henry shakes his head, chuckling. "I didn't think it'd scare you that much," he says. "And really, you should watch some classic zombie movies before you see the parody movies like this or Fido." 	Josh keeps a hand on Avalon until he's completely healed from the fall damages. He frowns slightly, looking the Blue Lantern over. "Well, I haven't seen a zombie movie since I was like eight..." he trails off, embarrassed. "Oh yeah. Your dad is home, Henry. And he wants to talk with you. He's upstairs." 	Avalon shoots Josh a softer smile, and raises a hand to cover the one that Josh keeps on him.. at least until Josh lets go. The mention of the elder Jordan makes Avalon nod his head, his lips pulling into another smile as he says "Your dad is really nice, Henry." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	As Henry takes off out of the room, Avalon lets out a sigh and then can't help but flush dark red, now that he's left with Josh. "Well. That could have been a lot worse." he then says with a bit of humor to his tone. He then shrugs a bit to the sting pulling, and says "I'm sure he'll tell us when he remembers." The moment is obviously gone, and Avalon doesn't want to press anything on Josh. Instead, he reaches out and presses his palm to Josh's chest once more - he's done it enough that it must be a common gesture where he's from - and gives Josh a bright and wide smile. No words are needed though, at least to Avalon.

Stepping back, he heads for the kitchen and asks "Wanna share a soda? They're so sweet I can't finish a whole one."

Not expecting to be pulled into a hug, Avalon lets out a soft little laugh, and he returns the hug tightly. "Oh I'm sure he will. Once he remembers." Avalon is distracted from soda by Josh though, and he lingers near the taller boy, unwilling to move away.

"I don't know what the custom is, on this planet." Avalon then says so softly that it seemed he was almost whispering, "But.. I would very much like to hold you close when it comes time to sleep.." he nibbles at his lower lip a bit, and then smiles gently as he says "It's always nice to share warmth when sleeping."

	"Henry doesn't feel that way about me." Avalon says in a sad little tone. He then sighs out a breath and plasters on a smile to Josh as he murmurs softly "You feel warm.. and safe in that regard.
