Josh looks down sadly. "I know what you mean. We all do sometimes. I just...well...unless I work at quieting it. I've always got this awareness of the life around me. How healthy it is, how close..." he trails off.
He listens quietly to what Avalon tells him and then nods. "Oh...is she okay?"
