A Girl Walks Into a Coffeeshop (Open)
Maria needed some downtime and some time out of Gotham. The place got to you after awhile and sometimes you just needed a break. She hopped on her bike and went where the road took her. This time it took her to Metropolis. The city was almost the opposite of Gotham and it was a nice change of scenery. Maria had planned to do some sight seeing in this world, but with recent events it had been hard. She was correcting that now.

She parked her bike outside of a coffeeshop and walked in. Caffiene was needed before some exploring could be done.

	"Thank you," she said and was genuinely surprised at such the gentlemanly gesture. It was rare she was around anything resembling a gentleman. Street thugs and criminals rarely pulled out chairs and opened doors. Hello talk, dark and handsome! Maria sat down and offered a hand after he sat. "Maria Grayson Wayne." 	"Probably," she said. "They're common last names, just like Richard and Bruce are common first names." Maria sipped her coffee. Ah caffeine. It made the world run and gave one the energy to beat up bad guys on a nightly basis. "So tell me, Jon, what is making you sit in a corner brooding and looking like you lost your favorite pet?" "Yes, but I could have meant Bruce Grayson and Richard Wayne," she teased. "I take it you know them then. Dick was my dad and Bruce adopted me. It's...complicated."

"Thought so. I smelled the smoke when I walked in," she joked. "In all seriousness and I know you just met me, but if you need someone to listen I have two ears. I may even be able to keep my mouth shut for more than five seconds."

	Lane? Kent? Yeah, Maria got the picture. In her world he was a she and named Johanna. "Yeah, I don't want to see any zombie movies for awhile.
