Buy Me Some Peanuts and Crackerjacks (Zoe, eventually Trey)
It was Opening Day at Papp Stadium. Spring was in the air, the Star City Rockets were going up against the Central City Stars, and GK Walker was giddy.
He'd gone to meet Zoe, enough makeup on his cheek to cover the now-healing cut, and now they were walking toward the stadium. "Maybe I should get a car," he said, thinking aloud.

Trey looks a little uncomfortable when they ask who is waiting back at his seats.

"My bodyguards. All three of them. They're trying to be unobtrusive, but three very large men standing around a guy is anything but obtrusive.

Aside from that, they're screening everyone who comes into the skybox, so I can't get a hotdog with out the vendor being checked for weapons. They stopped after the first time, so I had to come out and get one myself.

I was lucky to find someone I knew." Trey says, taking that as his cue to leave.

"I should probably go before they come looking and bug you guys. Thanks for letting me hang out." Trey says, getting up to go.

GK tells himself that this is not the time to speculate about how an archer got to be nicknamed Merlyn anyway. You'd think a magician would be named Merlyn, but.... that is not important right now.

"Yeah, it's a lot harder to protect someone from a longbow than from a knife. Not trying to be pessimistic, Trey," he adds hurriedly. "But yeah, their paranoia might not be very productive."

It was hard not to react to the names, and Zoe was probably worse at it than she thought. She had a huge problem with Green Arrow; she always had since he was the one who let the Triangle down after Deadshot cleaned it up. But Merlyn? He hadn't seen the type to be gunning for a business man or his kids. Especially the kids.

"You want to go back, that's up to you, Trey. We'll see you next week at the game. You want to stay here, then stay."

He has no idea that either of them are anything other than they appear, so hanging out with a couple of people around his age is just what's needed to lift Trey's spirits. 	It made her want to point out that bodyguards were paid to be effective, but she didn't. It was none of her business. It would stay none of her business until she made the opportunity to speak to Merlyn about it. "You better lead the way, Trey. You have to get us past your bodyguards." 	Trey does just that, getting Zoe and GK through without being frisked as he tells the bodyguards that he doesn't want his friends harassed. The chairs in the skybox are much more comfy than the regular seats, and there's a cooler full of drinks and a table of snacks as well. "Please relax and enjoy yourselves." Trey says. Zoe is not so into the game. It was a means to an end, getting out of the house without Mom scared of zombies eating them, keeping the myth alive that she had a social life, and she truly did like GK. He was never boring.

She amused herself by commenting on the pitching talent and tossing things into the small waste can in the corner. She never missed.

"You see all the games?" she asked Trey.

"As many as I'm able." Trey says, eating a few peanuts of his own as he watches Zoe for a moment, then returns to the game.

"Dad and were supposed to see the last home game a couple of weeks ago, but he ended up having to work. We usually sit up here and talk about players, stats...everything. My old man knew a lot about baseball." Trey says.

"Dad was pretty easy to talk to most of the time, but there are always some things you can't talk with parents about, you know?"
