Family Reunion (open to Atlanteans)
Arthur walked through the ruins of Poseidonis. The jewel of Atlantis lay mostly in ruins and was now floating on the surface of the ocean. Her sister city of Tritonis was in ruins on the ocean floor. Arthur's kingdom was in ruins, but the people were alive. They would rebuild and Atlantis would flourish again. Arthur would spend the rest of his life making sure of that.

He looked around at the ruins of the city and the people moving about. Arthur already had the council on his back for a meeting, but he told them it could wait. He had to make sure his people were provided for first. A good majority of the newly resurrected citizens had been evacuated to Cerdia, but even Cerdia couldn't hold all of the citizens of Poseidonis. Personnel essential to rebuilding were here now and ready to get started.

Arthur looked over at Mera and smiled. No matter what happened they'd get through it together. His gaze wandered and fell on Ash. Arthur had heard she had assumed the throne and with Garth's help led the surviving people of Atlantis to safety in a remote area away from the two ruined cities. When word that the dead had been restored to life, Garth and Ash led the people back to Poseidonis and they had just arrived.

Mera. Garth. Dolphin. Cerdian. Ash. Just one person was missing from his family. Cait. Thoughts of his daughter added some weight to his shoulders. He had to find her and see if she had been brought back. He couldn't imagine having to go through the rest of his life without her in it.

	Ash relaxes and shrugs. "I-I'm better now th-that everyone is alive." She had been constantly busy. It had forced her to change. While she was still a stammering person it wasn't quite as bad anymore. "It wasn't easy being the responsible one. I d-din't always have the right answer." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	"Yes," she said with a smile. She looked back at her father. Good news was that he hadn't attacked Ty yet. It was an improvement for Arthur. 	"I ask the same question, my king." Cerdian says, appearing before the group with his parents. He kneels immediately to Arthur and Caitria. "My hands are yours to use as you need, my king." 	Lord Garth knelt next to his Lady Dolphin in deference to his sovereigns. He did, however, smile at Cait's recognition of Cerdian. The boy could use some happiness. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Cerdian recognizes the voice, and as such, looks up out of reflex before Arthur allows them to stand. It /narrowly/ saves him. Still, there is an undignified "OOF!" as Cerdian is bowled over by Cait. "And here I thought that Princess Little Fish had forgotten me." Cerdian chuckles. "Yes, I missed you, too." he smiles. 	Aah can't help but giggle. The joy on Cait's face warmed the younger girl's heart. She was also happy to see Cerdian was up and about. She hadn't gotten to interact with him at all. "Yes sire. What do you require," Ash asks while going into a respectful bow. She tends to act very formal when she is confident and not stammering. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Cerdian blushes furiously, but his embarassment is momentarily stalled by Cait's assertions that /he/ always got them into trouble.

Of course, in front the King and Queen, Cerdian cannot refute her charges.

"I do not remember it that way, Princess Caitria. We will discuss this later." Cerdian teases.

"I am happy to you, and everyone here. We have a kingdom to repair." Cerdian says.

"Caitria...you're going to have to let the poor boy up. The ground is hardly comfortable, I imagine." Arthur says, smiling at his daughter.

He takes a deep breath and turns now to Ty.

"You and I have not always seen eye to eye, to put it mildly. However, you have aided Atlantis on several occasions, and you have treated my daughter well.

I do not know what tomorrow holds, Ty, but for today, I thank you and welcome you to join us." Arthur says, albeit stiffly.

It is still difficult to let his little girl go, but if being civil to this young man makes her consider staying longer, Arthur will hold his tongue.

For today.

	Cait climbed off of Cerdian and then got to her feet. She offered a hand to Sharkbait to help him up. Once Cerdian was on his feet Cait returned to Ty's side and took his hand again. She gave her father a smile. He was trying and for Arthur it was progress. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Cerdian takes Cait's hand and starts to get up when a sharp, stabbing pain causes him to fall to a knee, groaning in pain.

Lian, chained to wall, afraid and alone. A man in a finely tailored suit walking in with a book. Lian hides a knife under the pillow, waiting for her moment.

Just when she thinks he's distracted, she attacks...

Cerdian shakes off vision, taking a deep breath. Part of him wants to race to Lian's side and keep her from leaving the house, keep her from falling into this man's hands...

but why should he?

She'd chosen Damien, even if she'd made a show of throwing them both out. There were probably making love and laughing at him now...

"I'm fine." he says to anyone who saw what happened.

"Just a mild headache." he says.

	Cait squeezed his hand. "As long as you don't over extend yourself." Seeing him hurt as badly as he was had unsettled Cait and she wasn't going to let Ty push himself. Rebuilding the two cities was important, but not more important than Ty's well-being in Cait's book. "Father? Where do you want to start?" (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Arthur considers for a moment.

"Caitria, I'd like for you and Ty to accompany your mother around the city and speak to our people. Let them know we are here and that we are rebuilding. Let them see you. Their spirits are flagging, but they will be glad to know that we're among them." Arthur says.

He nods at Garth's suggestion.

"Yes, Garth. I would like it if Cerdian, Asherah and Dolphin gave us a better idea of the extent of the damage.

You and I need to speak, as well, Garth." Arthur says.
