Family Reunion (open to Atlanteans)
Arthur walked through the ruins of Poseidonis. The jewel of Atlantis lay mostly in ruins and was now floating on the surface of the ocean. Her sister city of Tritonis was in ruins on the ocean floor. Arthur's kingdom was in ruins, but the people were alive. They would rebuild and Atlantis would flourish again. Arthur would spend the rest of his life making sure of that.

He looked around at the ruins of the city and the people moving about. Arthur already had the council on his back for a meeting, but he told them it could wait. He had to make sure his people were provided for first. A good majority of the newly resurrected citizens had been evacuated to Cerdia, but even Cerdia couldn't hold all of the citizens of Poseidonis. Personnel essential to rebuilding were here now and ready to get started.

Arthur looked over at Mera and smiled. No matter what happened they'd get through it together. His gaze wandered and fell on Ash. Arthur had heard she had assumed the throne and with Garth's help led the surviving people of Atlantis to safety in a remote area away from the two ruined cities. When word that the dead had been restored to life, Garth and Ash led the people back to Poseidonis and they had just arrived.

Mera. Garth. Dolphin. Cerdian. Ash. Just one person was missing from his family. Cait. Thoughts of his daughter added some weight to his shoulders. He had to find her and see if she had been brought back. He couldn't imagine having to go through the rest of his life without her in it.

Cait had wanted to wait until Ty was well enough to travel before they went to Poseidonis to see her parents. More like she was putting off as long as possible, but she'd use Ty as an excuse. Once Ty was healed up enough there was no putting it off.

It was time to go home and see the family.

It was a short trip to Poseidonis from just outside of New York. They landed on the edge of what was now an island. Cait took a deep breath and then took Ty's hand. They would face her father together.

Ash had been a very busy girl. She had been all but forced to grow up during the danger and horror that had occurred while Arthur and the others were dead. She was still uncomfortable with people but she had begun to relax.

She still had a stutter and guessed it would never go away. She was just going to have to deal with that. After all she had turned sixteen while she was looking after their people. Ash froze when she saw Cait and Ty and just didn't know what to say.

Cait was alive.

	Mera's eyes widened when she saw Cait. She sprinted past her husband and Ash, and wrapped her daughter in a hug. "Cait," she said, kissing her on the cheek. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Arthur stands back, respectfully waiting for his daughter to acknowledge him, if she would. The way things were left between them was not as he wanted, but he hoped they could work on putting that behind him. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Arthur was quiet while he and Garth surveyed the damage done to Poseidonis. There was a lot of damage, but it could all be rebuilt and it would be rebuilt. There were also other issues weighing on the King's mind. "The council is already on my back about things," Arthur said to Garth as they walked. "One of those things is the succession." 	Garth sighs. "Can't they just let everyone be /happy/ for a few minutes before we go back to business as usual?" he complains. Then he composes himself. "I apologize. That was childish." Garth says. "Well, it seems the rift between you and Caitria is healing, Arthur. Asherah acquitted herself well in your absence. What do you plan to do?" he asks. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Garth has explained the situation to Dolphin and asked that she be there to calm Cerdian should the worst arise. She had that way with him. Meanwhile, Garth would stand with his king and try to convince Caitria that this was for the best. He knew it would work about as well as trying to tell a shark to stop swimming, but they had to try. 	Cait was up early despite the long previous day and night. She was tired, but Atlantis needed her. She had to help her people get through this. A lot of progress had been made yesterday, but there was still so much to do. It would be a long road to a full recovery. "You wanted to see us?" 	Ty, thankfully, doesn't actually need rest, so he was able to work most of the night through, and could have done more, but they don't trust him enough to let him use super speed or otherwise do things they can't supervise. As good as he was feeling about the progress, this meeting dispels. Something isn't right here. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Cait stopped walking, but she didn't turn around. "I believe you, Cerdian." She held tightly on to Ty's hand. Anger filled her and she wanted to lash out, but the feel of Ty's hand in hers kept her grounded and a little more rational. (Reply to this)(Thread)

	"But they are my problems and you're getting wrapped up in them. I don't want to do that to you and for that I am sorry." She sighed heavily. She just wanted both parts of her life to fit better together. There had to be a way for Ty and Atlantis to fit better together. It shouldn't have to be one or the other.
