"I am also here to protect you. My grandfather, Ra's al Ghul, is alive. He kidnapped my mother and he..." Damien pauses to collect himself, as he doesn't want his wife to see him as weak.
"He murdered Morgaine, Lian." Damien says softly.
"He threatened to come after you and our children, and I will not let him take you /or/ them." Damien says.
"I am going to kill Ra's and reassert myself as the Demon's Head." Damien says.
"Then we can all be a family again. This time, forever."
