We're Hunting Devils, huhhuhuhuhuh
Well. This had turned into one more insane adventure. They'd gone to investigate UFO sightings, and instead run into a group of campers who'd encountered "monsters" in the woods. One had already been made off with, and now another one had as well. They'd fought, and then the last one of the creatures had jumped into the woods and vanished without a trace.

Lindsey looked around, using her sensors to try and find any sign. So far, she was coming up empty.

"Open to suggestions here," she said o Roger and Johnny.

	The hunters appeared behind them, weapons at the ready. "Told you," the lead one said, "if we followed them freaks, we'd find the other freaks." He pointed his gun. "You folks gonna step aside and let us do some hunting? Or are you a bunch of tree-huggers too?" (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Roger stops in his tracks. He leans his head forward and his shoulders start to shake.

There's a gurgling of semisolid matter from underneath his bandages, approximating something as close to laughter as a turkey is to a dinosaur. Same shape, horrific differences.

"You... you think we're freaks?" He manages to state, as the bandages start parting.

"YOU DON'T KNOW THE HALF OF IT."

Roger explodes out of his containment array, bolting across the ground in the shape of some kind of serpent, right at the hunters.

Trapped in what was essentially the body of a high tech Barbie doll, cut off from her husband and children, working for people whose morals she was beginning to question more and more... Lindsey's hold on her humanity is a precious thread.

She doesn't take kindly to people trying to snip it.

Before she realized she'd done it, she'd uprooted a tree, improvising it into a missile.

	Roger goes right for the alpha male of the group, relying on his studies. Break the group's spirit, and they'll go down. He doesn't even bother letting himself adapt, he just washes over the thug and starts cutting off his air. "I'm not asking nicely... I'm TELLING you all... Drop. Your. Weapons." 	The man struggled in Roger's grip, gasping for air. And then one of the others gets stupid. He fired his rifle but this time it expelled, not bullets, but a blast of laser fire at Roger. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
