Re: Ra's and Damien
The pain is so intense that Damien barely registers what happened until he hears the snarling. James was attacking his grandfather.
"You...foolish man." Damien says.
Deep down, Damien knows how this will end. Ra's employed James' father years ago, and would know James' weaknesses and Damien did.
"James! Break away! Find my mother and sister and get them out of here!" Damien commands.
When he hears James' howl, he knows that the man has lost himself to his fury. He couldn't follow Damien's commands now if he wanted to.
"Thank you...old friend." Damien breathes. He picks up his sword and stumbles out of the room, one hand over his bleeding stomach. He had to get out of here and come up with a new plan.
But he would not let Ra's al Ghul win.
Heading toward his security room, Damien keys in the self-destruct sequence and sets the time for two minutes.
Morgaine just has to get Mother out of here and everything will be fine.
"Everything will be fine..." he says, collapsing against the wall and sliding to the floor.
