Medical miracles.
After much making out in the middle of the battlefield, followed by a night of intense passion back at their apartment (God, she'd missed being alive, not to mention Zach), Mia woke up early the following moment after her return from the grave and made her way to Star City General Hospital. Alive again or not, she was probably still HIV positive and would need to get back on her strict regimen of medication.

There was a lot of explaining to the doctors why someone who had been legally dead for the past few months was suddenly alive and kicking like nothing had happened. Mia filed out some forms for insurance, and then went through a series of various tests to see if everything was in order.

A couple of hours after her tests, the doctor came back into the room, a truly astounded look on his face as he stared at Mia's charts.

"Ms. Dearden, there were some...unusual results in your tests. We'd like to keep you under observation for a few days."

Mia nodded, wondering what could have possibly happened. Had something happened when she came back to trigger her HIV into full-blown AIDS? She didn't want to think about it.

They were calling it a medical miracle. They had run test after test, Mia's arm was sore from having needles poked into it to draw her blood, and she was pretty sure that if they ran another test on her, she'd lose her mind.

The doctors couldn't come up with any other explanation, other than it was a miracle and that she should be very lucky, because "Someone out there was looking out for her".

Mia Dearden was one hundred percent HIV free. She was clean. After all those years, she was free of the virus that she had always known would one day claim her life.

She truly was getting a second chance at life. Not just another ten years, but as many as she could hope for.

Mia left Star City General, a smile on her face. She called Zach and left a message on his voicemail, saying that she was going to take them out for dinner at the best place in town.

She certainly had a lot of reasons to celebrate.

Roy understands where Jane is right now, in more ways than one. She's just come back from being turned into a weapon against her family against her will and, moreover, she has feelings for an unrepentant killer who can't really return her feelings.

The information about Ra's al Ghul is another shock, but Roy doesn't press her on that. He's certain that she doesn't want to think about it.

"I know we're not close, Jane, but you're a good person and I don't want to see you get hurt. That's why I need to find Robert and stop him before he can hurt or get hurt by someone else.

The politician he killed, Vontrell Griffin II...Jane, the man left behind three kids. One teenager and two small kids. That family is in shambles right now and they deserve justice.

Get me everything you have as soon as possible. In fact, I'm going to hire you at double your normal fee, starting now." Roy says.

At least everyone seems to think he isn't capable of it. She knows Robert feels something for her. She covers her face with her hands breathing in deeply.

"Damn it. He--" She can't stay her hand. As much as she wants to give Robbert a chance she knows she can't.

"He really did it, didn't he?" She feels like something is seriously breaking in her. She thought Robert was changing. She trusted he would change. They might not know everything but this is very damning.

"I don't understand why he'd do this. I thought he was giving this up." She pulls her hands away from her face and sighs. She needed a drink and hated that was the first thing she thought of after feeling so pushed.

"I'll give you everything I have. Maybe you'll figure this out. I feel like we only have a quarter of the picture. Has Keith said anything? Any clue as to what was going on?"

"The sooner I get your information, the sooner I can find him. I'm not discussing this with Keith or Oliver and...I need to make sure that you don't, either. Please don't mention it to Mia, either.

I'm trying to do this without bringing the rest of the family into it. If Oliver knows about Robert...it would hurt him a lot." Roy tells her.

"Whatever happened, I'm sure that Keith was a victim of Robert's manipulation, just like you were. We don't have the full picture, you're right about that. But...I know people who have been tracking Merlyn since he took up the name, and this is his M.O.

The information I have so far is that some of Griffin II's policies didn't sit well with some people. Anyone could have hired Robert for his services.

I also just learned that he was here in Star City a few months ago, helping to break Slade out of Super-Max right after Slade tried to kill me. I'm not completely sure who was behind it yet. I thought it was the League, but they ended up hitting Super-Max again a few weeks later.

It didn't make sense for them to hit the prison twice in such a short time...but there are some other people who showed up on the footage, too. I'm still working on this.

Did he ever mention working for or with anyone to you?" Roy asks.

That had her think back.

"He went out of town for a few days around that time. I'm in Gotham mostly these days. He had just... Fuck."

She gets it now. There have been too many lies. And while she wants to trust Robert she just can't. Not anymore.

"He didn't give me details. I didn't ask because I thought I should trust him. All signs pointed to him trying to be honest with me at the time." She looks fusterated now but just nods.

"All right. I won't tell anyone anything."
